Oh, Janine... I felt so badly for little Ava. She is a dear, blood-curdling screams and all! HAHAHAHAHAHA! I did mention that was a WOW moment for me as I've avoided feeding babies for over 45 years!!! Yep, my first!



I'm glad she settled down and went for a snooze. Actually, I'm glad for ALL of you! Tee-hee!



Janine, thank you so much for driving out to the Support Meeting. I enjoyed meeting everyone. Steve and Darrell, thank you again for opening your home. Lu/Steve -- great meeting! Great samples and OH magazines! I too loved the pistachio pudding! And that Unjury chicken soup was a nice find!



Yes, tis a HOT one today! I'm about to jump in the pool! The pool temp got up to 85 last night! PERFECT!!!

Morning! I had just a wonderful day yesterday~ I cashed in two different gift certificates...one for a spa pedicure and one for an hour long massage.  Inbetween that pampering, I did some shopping and used another gift card that my SIL gave me.  It was a GREAT day!! No kids, no dogs....just me and some relaxation. Today, I am heading over to my SIL's house for a bday party for my MIL.  It's gonna be hot...but that is what A/C is for! Have a great day everyone!

Good late morning to Cali, I am new to OH and I love it. I live in northern CA and it is too hot here too. I have scheduled my informational seminar for June 19, 2008, I am so excited about this. I have been reading the posts and learning alot.  I have been getting all the paperwork ready for the meeting. I will be contacting my old DR.s for my medical records. I do not know if I will have to do this 6mo Dr weight loss diet of not I hope not. I have over the years been with DR's for weight loss and non DR supervised weight loss efforts. So I am crossing my fingers I do not have to wait that long. Does anyone know if there is any support groups in my neck of the woods if not do you think I should start one. Anyway stay cool.

Welcome Sue to the Cali boards! You know it is hot when it is hot in Jackson this early in the year! I have not been there in a long time. I bet it has really grown and changed a lot. My x inlaws use to live at Lake Comanche and that is why I would drive into Jackson. My boys were just recently up in Ione for their grandma's funeral.

Anywho...I would stick around...gather info....and hope for the best on the 19th. I do hope you do not have to go through a 6 months supervised diet, but it does go faster than you think. Keep on posting and keep us up to date....we are here to support you!  

TY Janine, wow someone knows where Jackson and Ione are. I am on here everyday. I have not posted before this cause you are all in southern CA and Iam way up here.  It is nice to feel welcome.

Even though CA is a big ass state....we are all here Nor Cal...SoCal and inbetween to support each other and that is what matters.

So no excuses Sue.....you get your hinnie out here on the boards and get to know all of us....I insist!!!!
