Good Morning Cali...and welcome to a very warm Sunday. Yeah it is nearly 3 in the morning and yes it is warm out here in the desert!

Last night when Jeff and I went downtown around 7 it was a whopping 107 degrees still..now that is just hotat that time of the night and this early in the year. I heard it is supposed to be hotter today....yuck...oh wait a minute.....that is what are for!

Hey Steve,....thanks for opening your home up yesterday to all of us...was a nice meeting and it sure was nice seeing you and D. Great house....love the artwork and all the wonderful things you have done in your home. NICE NICE NICE!

It was also good seeing you Lisa and all the other people I had not met...like Scrapingirl...that was a crack up when you said who you were. And for any of you *****member Sherrise...OMG she looks HOT!!! LuLu with you red locks....nice girl! Katt looking good girl.....Kim could not believe you were out so soon!

Kim aka MadameButterfly rode out there with me....thank you much Kim for helping me out with Miss AvaBear who decided about 15 mintues or so before we got home to blow a head gasket. I had to pull over mae a bottle...and Kim bless your heart tried to feed her and rock her car seat trying to get her calmed down!!! Yep that was Ava alrighty. When I pulled in the garage.....I hurried up and got her out....Ava probably destroyed Kim's desire ever to have kids as Kim said as she was trying to feed her...I wonder if this is going to make my biologicl clock tick! Kim when I told Ava's dad that...he really laughed.So Miss Bear wound up sleeping until 4 or so....and then I got her up, fed her, and then she, her dad and I went in the pool....she loves the water!

Today I have the Hunter Man....it is like when does grandma get a day off on the weekend....oh wait a minute...isn't that what moms are for? You know to be a son and dils beck and call??? I am not complaining really....I just remember when I was raising my boys, not only did I not have anyone to leave them with, my parents always made it perfectly clear that when I had children, they were not babysitters! But you all know how much I hate it right?

So what is on your agenda for the day? One I know to stay cool....but what else gang? Whatever it is...don't forget tha****er kids....very very important and especially in the heat!

Good morning Janine and all the crew You are so right about the heat - and I am by the beach- I am not a heat lover but can definitely tolerate it better with almost 123 lbs off the body....but at least I have a pool real close by - and I have been there the past 3 days for a little vitamin D along with some much needed exercise. Oh and the tan is coming along nicely too. Today I am headed out to Torrance for my craft class thing that we (my BFF and I) go to once a month. Should be fun and we are doing something with Candles.... Someday I am going to surprise you all and drive out to one of Steve and Lu's support groups so I can meet all of the great OH'ers in that neck of the woods.... So, time to go have a cup of coffee - iced this morning since it is already warm - and read the paper before I get in the shower to start my day. Remember to drink lots of H20 and stay cool.

Good Sunday Morning Everyone! Today my nephew, Jason, graduates from CSUF and my brother and I will be heading out there for the ceremony in about an hour. I am very proud of his accomplishment. He paid his own way through college and worked very hard these past years to do so. Well done! I see Lori from Long Beach is going to be there for HER nephew's graduation as well. Wonder if we might run into each other in the crowd? That would be cool! I thought the support meeting was great yesterday and the taste tesing fun. Lu made some good stuff with the Unjury puddings and Darrell, well, what can you say? The boy heats up some AWESOME water doesn't he???? LOL I'm sorry little Speed Racer AvaBear got fussy on you grandma. But am so glad you were able to be here and bring her. Everyone just adored seeing her! It was also a treat to meet Kim and see our newest Loser's Bench members Aftan and Katt on the losing side. I know all the research and support meetings they did will serve them well as they are on the journey. I know it sure helped me. Hope you can come join in at the meetings often as your experience is great for the group Janine! Guess I need to get moving here to make sure I am ready when my bro gets here to pick me up. Those couple of bites of pudding were quite filling for sure....love the pistachio SF pudding!
