Good morning Janine and Cali Crew! Janine, Ava is the cutest little girl, even with the helmet. She gets cuter with every picture. This weekend is support group on saturday and church on sunday. Other than that, pretty much kick back all weekend. Hope everyone has a great weekend. =)

Hi Janine and Calif Friends! Gosh, since I have been home I am posting like 5 hours later! It feels so good to sleep in! lol
That Ava Bear is Soooo Adorable!!! Grandma will find inventive ways to keep her nice and cool I know!
My work is driving me crazy.......they are in panic mode. My boss had a Salesman (from work) call me to teach him the "payables" over the phone. I told him just leave everything except if it has to do with employees alone. I really feel I will be back next week sometime and the ceiling will not come crashing in. I promise! Ugh! I have only been gone a week.....At least he says he has the payroll down....we will see! I just do not want to come back to a total mess, know what I mean? Also - I don't want to feel pressured to come back either...... ok, enough of my griping...
I hope you all have a great, great day!!! No real plans for the weekend for me, just doing the house cleaning that I can do, and delegate to the DH after golf on Saturday what I cannot do! lol

Good morning good morning good morning!! TGIF to the 10th power. I have just been exhausted ALL week long!
Anyway I'm a happy camper and glad it's MY 3 day weekend. For 3 weeks in a row...gotta love that and I do.
No spectacular plans for me this weekend. Just hanging out over the weekend and doing his softball thing. I think tomorrow when we go to the batting cages I plan to hit a few balls.

OMGosh, could Ava be any cuter?!!! It is heart breaking that she has to wear that helmut, but she is still a dollbaby in it!!! Sorry to hear that Hunter may need one too. I sure hope these expensive helmuts are covered by insurance!!! You are one lucky Gramma!!!
Congrats on the great interview! The school my daughter just started going to is a continuation school and I'm very impressed with their program! I'm surprised that Tara actually likes it! I hope she makes some friends soon, to make it that much better!! I hope God has it in His plan for you to eventually end up at this school!
Well, I made it to day 5 of the 5DPT and it was sooooo much easier than I thought it would be. And I'm so glad I did it because I've definitely got a start to getting back under control. I broke down and weighed myself this am and lost 3.5 pounds!!!! I will take it because it has been forever since the scale went down or up more than .5 or 1 pound.
I have a bridal shower tomorrow and then church on Sunday, but that is about it!

Ava is truly adorable, with or without that cut helmet. I'm still in recovery mode. Yesterday my DH and I WENT OUT TO DINNER! Yes, I know I'm only 3 days post-op, but I was so careful. We went to Marie Callender's and I had a cup to potato cheese soup. My husband watched me like a hawk to make sure I didn't eat any pieces of potato or onion or celery - just the liquid part. So it ended up to be about 3/4 cup, and it was delicious! I brought the solid bits back so that I could puree it and have the rest today. My hubby has a barbershop singing contest tomorrow, but I'm not up to a 2 1/2 hour drive to go and watch it. Mostly I'm planning on just taking it easy. I found that I didn't enjoy the drive to and from the restaurant yesterday - my stomach was hurting by the time we arrived. I haven't taken any pain medication since I got home from the hospital Tuesday, but I was tempted last night! Have a great weekend, everybody - Carol
