GoodMorning Cali and a Happy TGIF to all of you!!! Can we say YAY it is finally Friday?

Long, long week for all of us lots of highs and lows! And speaking of lows....what about all those LOSERS!!!! Steve what was the tally for the week? I know some people posted their loss and not on the WWW I think like Katt who lost 20 lbs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I miss a day of posting the morning post, I feel very disconnected in a way and I was so glad to see that Miss LuLu picked up the post yesterday. Jillie wherever you are I hope that you are feeling okay gf. I thought about posting, but only posted my thanks to you guys!

You know what is the best....the support we give to each other and the genuine caring that we have for each other. I do believe this has been one of the better years we have had on the boards with how we are getting along with each other too....like little to no drama....now how cool is that?

All you 5DPT'ers  are doing so great....I am super proud of all you and Becky you are doing an awesome job of checking in with all of them!

JenDenni....so happy you are feeling better..walking will get some of that gas moving on out in the right direction.

Monica P....don't let people influence you as to where you want to go with your wl. As you know, people get weird when you lose weight especially if they have weight issues or other insecurities. You will know and your body will know where it wants to be. I think you are doing fantastic, you are young and beautiful and a lot going for yourself....remember it is all about you!

Jodi....I am sorry to read that your hubby is having health issues. I know he is your rock and somehow you have to get the guy to slow himself down. Gardening could be a help. I will keep him in my prayers that he will turn things around with his health. And you Missy had darn well better take care of yourself and TAKE YOUR MEDS!!! NO being sick Miss Jodi!!!!

MonicaW I know you said you had a pretty kicked back week...can I have some of that? How is that beauty queen of yours?

Speaking of which...I went on the coolest interview yesterday at the continuation high school in my district. It lasted about an hour and a half....was the most laid back...shoot the poop interview I have ever had with the exception of the first principal I ever worked for here in the desert which I became good friends with.

The deal is that the art teacher might retire this year as he is of retirement age and it will be dependent on selling some property. If he does, this principal said he would be calling me back and if it is not until next year, he still would be calling me back. Now how cool is that? I walked away from there feeling very excited about the prospects. He said I would be a very comfortable fit with the students and his faculty. YAY and I felt the same!

Any*****member I told you Ava had to get a helmut? Well get this....my grandson's pedi said he is going to have to have one too because he is getting a flat spot n his head. So he had x-rays yesterday and Hunter will have to be off to Loma Linda soon about all this too.

Ava got her helmut yesterday. The doctors said that if she wears it 22 hours a day...it will be off by the time she is a year. Here is my little helmut head:I ffeel bad for her because it is going to be hot this summer in that thing. She has to wear a stocking under it. Can you believe that thing cost $3000? Yikes!! One of her many baby souviners!

So what is on your agenda for the weekend? You all better make sure that whatever it is.....you carry a water bottle....when I was driving home yesterday...it popped 110 on the highway, but was a steady 105 here. That is too hot too soon for the desert even!

So as our fuzzy, skinny bear says....stop reading and start posting....

Good MOrning Janine and all the cali crew.... Helmut or not that Ava is just a doll baby - and she will survive the "hat" cause babies are real troopers.....and I can't believe Hunter has to have one too - but they will have each other and it will just be one more bond for them..... I did go to the pool yesterday, had a good exercise work out in the water then laid out for a little bit to soak up some of that natural vitamin D... This weekend I am off to Torrance to see my BFF and go to our craft workshop on Sunday...those are always so much fun. Today I have to go to a funeral this morning for a neighbor (she was only 50 - yikes way to sad) then to run a couple of errands and maybe this afternoon off to the pool again... Happy TGIF to everyone.  Oh and Janine that newest interview sounds awesome and sounds like something to look forward to. Hugs to all - remember to stay hydrated....

Yap yesterday was HOT!! And I felt like I didn't get enough water, even if I was able to get about 100oz in.

Today is 12 hours then I am off for 3 wonderful days. Tomorrow is support group. YAAY!! this is going to be a great group and its be so long since we see each other I miss everyone.

HEY STEVE, can you send me the stuff agian?

Then on Sunday Kevin and I are going to dinner with some friends. The guy, Scott, has been very sick. we are talking SICK! so his wife, Allison, is really happy about get together and him spending sometime with Kevin and getting a chance to do some guy stuff. She is hoping it will do him some good. But made me promise to make sure that Kevin understood just how sick Scott has been and that he is not the same person he use to be. I just want to have a nice day with friends. And yap, we both understand he has been sick, and that takes a toll on people. We will take it easy on them both.

OK time to make myself clean.

Good morning Janine and Cali and TGIF!!!!! I haven't been around much this week. Mostly just lurking. It seems time has slipped away from me and I barely get things read and it's time to go. Up early this morning. I'm going to work early so I can go home early. Sammi has a birthday party at 3:15 for her "best" friend. No big plans this weekend. Just trying to get my thumb to heal. The ortho Dr. decided it needed to go into a permanant cast on Wed and it's driving me crazy! I feel so bad for little Ava Bear. It is going to be sooo hot this summer for her. She seems to be in good spirits about it though Have a great friday Cali! Sue

Good Morning Everyone! I'm so glad it's Friday.  Bryan and I have a few things planned for the weekend.   We are going to Disneyland tonight for our "date" night.  Saturday we are going down to Laguna Beach to visit Briana. We are taking her best friend with us, so she will be surprised. Sunday we are going to the Angel/Dodger game. I'm so excited.  Bryan and I love Angel games and haven't been able to do one before now.   Other then all that, we plan on sleeping in and relaxing!  Have a great weekend!  Cindy

WELL THIS CONFIRMS IT. LITTLE MISS AVA LOOKS ADORABLE NO MATTER WHAT SHE WEARS. SHE'S ALREADY TO GO RIDING WITH GRANDMA ON HER BIKE. WHAT AN ABSOLUTE DOLL. COULD SHE BE ANY CUTER. AT LEAST FOR THE NEXT YEAR YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT HER BUMPING HER LITTLE HEAD. THAT'S ALWAYS MY BIGGEST FEAR.

AS FOR HUBBY HE IS TAKING OFF WORK EARLY TODAY, ONLY BECAUSE THEY ARE HAVING THEIR BELATED CINCO DE MYO (SP) CELEBRATION WIT ALL THE TRIMMINGS THAT HE CAN'T HAVE.  NO SALT... BUT AT LEAST HE WILL BE HOME AND IS LOOKING FORWARD TO TAKING SARAH TO HOMEDEPOT TO PICK OUT SOME MORE FLOWER POTS WITH HER. HIS TOMATOES HAVE YELLOW FLOWERS ON THEM ALREADY. WON'T BE LONG NOW.

AS FOR ME, I JUST KEEP THINKING WHAT WOULD I DO WITH OUT HIM. AND OF COURSE I FORGOT TO TAKE THE MAJORITY OF MY MEDS. DARN THAT MAKES ME MAD. I DID SO GOOD FOR YEARS. SO I AM GOING TO SIT DOWN AND SORT THROUGH THEM AND MAKE SURE EVERYONE IS IN THE PILL BOX. I HAVE TO STAY ON TOP OF MINE IF I EXPECT DAVE TO KEEP TAKING HIS.

Good Morning my friend.  OMG AVA is so dang cute.  It is really going to be really hot today.  I hope that everyone is sure to stay very well hydrated.  Remember in this heat we need to stay hydrated.  You fresh post ops I want you to be sure to work on getting in the fluid.  I know how hard it is but you really need to. Have a great weekend.  I am hoping to get really early tomorrow morning like 530 or 6 to go for a nice long ride before it gets too hot. Liz
