Good already warm morning. It sure is going to be a furnace today.
I want to thank Sue Bee for wishing me a Happy Birthday and all who posted to my page.
I had a wonderful day yesterday. It was my 50th Birthday. My day started with my oldest brother calling me to wish me Happy Birthday. That was to be honest a little unsettling as I have not spoken to him in about a year and it is usually confrontational. That is a whole different stor
y for another day. At work my friends in Wound Care ( I did wound care before bariatrics) came into the office and asked me to come over. They had an absolutely yummy cake. I took a sliver ( so thin so youcould see thru it.) Then Later in the day Dr. Yadegar came in with a bunch of flowers, a dozen pink roses and some really fragrant white flowers.
Then at home there was a little round thing in the fridge covered with a towel ( Lindsey bought a cake) it was to surprise me!
Chuck came home from work early and we went to dinner. I had crab that I added to his meal. I was very full and happy. We came home and you know we had the round thing that was covered in the fridge. Then there were a slew of cards. Let me tell you guys I wanted a big blow out birthday party to be this weekend. But, it did not get pulled together. So when I opened the last card there were tickets in it go see WICKED on Saturday night. Chuck apologized for not giving me a party. I was very touched by the Wicked Tickets. The cards were very touching. Phillip, well what can I say about him he is somewhat wrapped up in his own little world with school. He felt bad because he could not celebrate with us. But the biggest gift that he can give is attending school. He has one more week of school left and then he is off to start his internship and then he can take his state test. He came home last night and told us he scored 100% on his unit exam. I am so thrilled for him. He feels accomplished.
So, you have let me ramble. At 50 I feel the healthiest I have ever felt.
Liz
