Last night, I had a dinner party for my parents 55th Anniversary/ Belated Mother's day. My parent came in and said," OMG! If we didn't know whose house we were going to, we would think that someone else just answered the door! You look so much thinner everytime we see you!" THEN- I went to see a friend I haven't seen in 6 months (she's a gorgeous actress/model) and she came out to get me from outside her building and stopped dead in her tracks- staring. She says, "I didn't even recognize you. OMG! Come show my MOM!" and she drags me upstairs to her apartment. THEN- my daughter (who is ALWAYS late and missed the entire dinner but came to grub after the fact) actually starts tearing up and says, "OMG...I can't believe you! You look SO good!" THEN (yes, another then) my semi-boyfriend comes over to pick me up so we can go bowling (Actually, he bowls and I just throw the ball down the alley and attempt to knock SOMETHING over). We're walking in the parking lot and he says, " Are you wearing Jeans?" I'm like- "yeah." and he says- "Are those REAL JEANS?" So I lift up my shirt and say -"YEAH! See!" and he grabs me, hugs me and says, "I'm SO proud of you! OMG! I really am! You're looking SO good!" WOW! I've only lost 37lbs. but I guess the inches are really showing! Go figure! SO- What was your best WOW moment!

Oh ROcky - that is so awesome - I am so happy for you - but hold on - this is just the beginning.  I think my favorite wow moment so far is when I went some place and ran into a couple of people I hadn't seen in a long time and they totally walked right past me, I said hi, they stopped and looked and I had to tell them who I was....then their jaws just dropped....... Hang on girlfriend - this is one wild and fantastic ride...... CONGRATS

That is awesome I had a OMG moment yesterday. I had bought a pair of Jeans off the reg. size department at Wal mart ( none plus size) over a year ago when I was on one of my diets. They were my "goal jeans" size 18 reg. I was a 24w. I found those jeans in the depth of my closet, so I thought what the heck, I'll just see how far I can pull them up( last time, up to my thighs) And I pulled them all the way up, zipped and snapped them with out laying on the bed using pliers to zip themI almost cried.......................Laura

Congratulations on some GREAT wow moments!!! Isn't it a great feeling when someone doesn't recognize you!! It can't help but make you smile with pride!!! Woo hoo for the great job you are doing sweetie!!! My biggest wow moment was probably the day my father said hi to me and kept on walking not knowing it was me! He hadn't seen any of my pictures along the way and hadn't seen me in a year's time and didn't even know me! I've had lots of memorable WOW moments!!

The first time I ran and didn't die from running out of breath.

Going to Magic Mountain and fitting on every. single. ride.

Buying a pair of pants from a 'regular size' store.

Being called "skinny", an "athlete", a "runner", and "tiny".

Crossing my legs.

Not being recognized when seeing someone the first time since surgery. (love when that happens!)

Now if you are going to win any battle you have to do one thing. You have to make the mind run the body. Never let the body tell the mind what to do. The body will always give up. It is always tired in the morning, noon, and night. But the body is never tired if the mind is not tired."

Last Thanksgiving--my nephew took some digital photos of the family at the table and sent them to his mom--she recognized my sister, but asked who was the lady with his grandmother?? (Very complicated--a divorce or two in the mix!) That was Me!!
