Regular brew grande with 2 splenda's and half and half.

I have simplified since surgery.  At about 8 months out I started back on my life's blood.  I have a Venti Iced Coffee every morning, 2 splenda and nonfat milk.  I also carry unflavored protien and add a scoop to it.  SO........  I get my jones and 30 g of protien to boot.

Yes Ma'am no sugar.  Except what is in the nonfat milk.

Before surgery I had never gone to a Starbucks. My first WLS gathering postop was at a Sbux. Although , I went to SBux for gatherings it wasnt until well after my first year that I attempted a Sbux drink. My drink now is an Iced Venti Americano w/ SF vanilla, sweet n low, no water, xtra ice and a splash of nonfat milk. For me the sweet n low takes away the bitterness of the shots.  Now there are more SF options than there were before. There is SF vanilla, hazelnut, cinamon dulce and caramel and mocha. Make friends with a barrista at your local store and they will be happy to help you find your drink. Remember if you order something and it doesnt taste right to you let them know they will make something else. They want you happy and satisfied.

I drink the grande, decaf, no sugar added vanilla latte w/soy.  I have drinking that since 6 months post-op.
Without struggle, there is no progress.

Hi Puddin2day I absolutely love your photo with the great smile.  You look like you would be fun to know.  As far as coffee goes.  .. At Mc Donalds they now have a cold coffee that they make with sugar free vanilla that is so good. Not too strong but just right and  no sugar but lots of flavor. Jane

Jane, Thank you for the compliments.  I am fun (or at least try to be).  I wanted to try that coffee drink at McD's but they don't make it in decaf. Kim
