Good Morning Janine and Cali Crew, Janine - you are a weight loss rock star.  Keep doing your thing! Cali-  I mentioned last week that my scale was on crack.  Well this week it is in recovery.  I actually like/love my scale.  Well from 185.5 last week, I am down to 180.5 this week.  A 5 pound loss. RUNNING ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I hope I run like the wind.  Talk to everyone later. Kim

Hello Cali and all my WWWers, I spent a lovely long weekend in Vegas and no matter what I do when I go on vacation I come back heavier (water weight I'm sure), alas...I got on the scale when I came home and to be honest when I saw it was up I didn't retain ANYTHING that the scale was saying. This morning I'm down to 160. That's only 1 pound from last week, but I last weighed in on Friday...so perhaps I'll lose another by the end of the week. It's also 5lbs for the last week and a half! Yeah! Then back on the 5dpt.

Well, I wish I could say I lost, but I am UP 4 lbs.  Three different meds that I take have weight gain as a side effect.  Bummer!  The upside to it all is that the meds have finally kicked in and I feel sooooo much better.  Not 100% but probably 90% or so.  So I will take the gain and be happy with it.  I actually feel good enough to get back to the gym. Heya Cali. I'll pop in and play the weigh in game today. This morning I am 202.5 pounds . . .which is down from 208 last week. So count me in for 5.5 pounds lost!! And I just noticed on my ticker, I'm past the halfway point toward my goal. Sweet! Hope you all have a great day!

Well, I weighed myself this morning because it was Wednesday, and dang if I hadn't dropped 1.6 lbs from Monday morning right before surgery.  That means 2.2 pounds this week, I think! I'm on my way!  Carol

No weigh in for me, just a Hi Gang!!! I'm usually a scale ***** weighing myself everyday, but being that I'm doing the 5DPT, I decided to back off!!  So, I made today day 3 of liquids and it really hit me today, the detox or something!!! I slept 8 hours last night, took my daughter to school, and then slept 3 hours on the couch!  I ate some split pea soup and shortly after that I was really woozy and icky feeling. So I made a big protein shake and drank that and felt better, but I definitely don't have a lot of energy today!!  I decided to eat some yummy fage yogurt for dinner tonight to give myself some more substance.  I did check my blood sugar at one point to make sure that wasn't too low and it was fine, so that wasn't it! I'm sure it is detox from all the carbs and sugars!!! So, no more liquids for me, soft proteins tomorrow ~ woo hoo!!! gotta go boil some eggs to add to tuna and cottage cheese!  Congrats to everyone on some great losses and I'm with everyone else, Janine you need to give us your daily plan! YOU ROCK GIRLFRIEND!!! biggest hugs, Becky
