What are you thankful for?

I am thankful for:

My mom - who worries about me and takes good care of me even though I'm all grown-up now.

My personal trainer - who trains me at an amazingly cheap rate.  Last night I asked him why he cuts me such a great deal and he said "I like to see the transformation in people....and I like you, you have a good spirit"  Meaning, I have a good attitude about working out..   Then he proceeded to work me so hard that I can barely lift my arms today.

Now if you are going to win any battle you have to do one thing. You have to make the mind run the body. Never let the body tell the mind what to do. The body will always give up. It is always tired in the morning, noon, and night. But the body is never tired if the mind is not tired."

I am thankful for my faith in God. That He quiets my anxious heart when need be and lifts me up, always. I am thankful for this surgery. I feel that it has saved my life already. I am thanful for my family and friends, OHers definitely included. I am thankful for our military personnel and the sacrifices they make everyday. And finally, I am thankful for you Vicki. For this post every week. Big hugs to you and your family.
