Well I hope everyone had a good return to work yesterday and there was not major drama you had to face. I love it that I can stay esconed in my own little world (my classroom and patio) and not know what else is going on around me! If I choose to wander out...I do...but these days and at this time of the year....I am just super slammed with working on ceramics and getting prepared for the end of the year!

My son James came over last night to right a bill up for some work he did for one of Jeff's clients...I got to play with MissAva Bear which is always a treat, but he real news was he heard from the groom from Saturday. I guess after we left...OMG real disaster. The caterers did not show up until an hour and a half past the ceremony and I guess it turned into a brawl! Long story there, won't bore you with the details....but I wish I had stayed to witness that one! 

Great to hear Kristin you are doing so well!! Pain meds are so good after that kind of surgery...I have first hand experience at that one! When I was reading about you...I still cannot believe it is almost 4 years since I had my 1st of 5 surgeries to fix this old body! I am sure you look spectacular and I am telling you, it only gets better with time. With the way you exercise....t is only going to be better and better!

JenDenni....I stil am just flabbergasted that you went into surgery! BTW...your grandchildren...now how cute are they? I really am looking forward to having a whole herd of them....and them boys have to just love you! Heal soon gf and I am really glad you are okay!

Jean did you get pampered good? It is so awesome you are getting so SMALL!!!! You have been doing so great! Hope you are finally over that dang cold! Hope I get to see you again before I walk right past you and not recognize you....oh wait a minute...I'd recognize a MAC girl anywhere!

LuLu....sure hope that you get some rest today! I know those 12 hour shifts are hard on you...not fun at all...I do not know how you do it nor do I know how my *****es it too as she works the same hours as you do at the hospital here in Palm Springs!

Steve....how was re-entry for you yesterday? Hopefully not too bad as I know this is your busy seaon. I am sure with Memorial Day coming up , people are going to be really cranky with all of you there! Hope your soreness is getting more managable each day!

Diane....sure miss you around here. How is the job training going? Have the employees realized yet that you are the new "boss" lady? I am just super proud of you for all you have accomplished!

Shells...you trooper girl...hope you are feeling better as each day passes...and you just ROCK for doing the Craig Park thing. I know it is hard to organize any kind of an event....I wish I was closer to help. I do not know what I can do to be a worker helper...It takes me about 2 hours or so to get there...but will for sure pitch in with bucks for what is needed.

Same goes for you Sheryl....you ROCK too for getting in there and helping and organizng. You have always done so much for that event......hard to believe it has been nearly 4 years since the first one and where we met!

Jillie...how are you doing? Your son and gf sure looked great for their prom....how cool is that to be young again and his car looks brand new!

Vickie..did you get your computer issues solved? I did something like that with my tool bar....took me a while to figure it out...I am such a techno tard!

Monica W....how is Miss Jordyn? Is she still sleeping through the night now? I think it is awesome for so young....she must be super contented....I can hardly wait to meet your daughter...the newest board beauty!

Monica P....you never cease to amaze me with your running and all your energy....I think you are so cool! And real purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrty too. I know your mom had to be estatic with her mothers day! Love the sis stuff with you....let her be jealous...you look fab!

Jodi....gf...don't beat yourself up....we all forget to do things..it is quite okay and you know Jen is not mad at you! I hear you about mothers day Jodi....this was the 1st one in 33 years that I did fine because my mother died on mothers day....Sunday with the kids and grandbabies was the best one I could have had! Sounds like in spite of everything your family knows how to treat you right!

Hey Rock....good to see your face around on the morning post....I know you rarely post here. How is life treating you these day? See our friend lately? LOL did I tell you I got those op reports...interesting stuff there!

Sue..glad you got some sleep...I guess all you coast people are really suffering the gloom. One of the reasons I left the SF bay area...got sick of the weather and I could not have stood the weather with lack of insulation! Hope you are feeling good these days.

Catt good luck to you with your upcomig finals. I know a real stressful time for you, but you can do it girl!!! My hat is off to you for going to school!

Okay all you 5DPT'ers.....you ROCK!It is so cool to see all the dedication and rededication to your pouches. It is so friggin hard the further you get out. Take each day as it comes....don't worry about the day before or tomorrow..just focus on the day in front of you.....you all are doing so great and I am proud of you guys and gals!

Lynnie...gf....how is the hot teacher with her   hope your migraines have significantly slowed down! You are one dedicated teacher working with a migraine....I do not know how you do it....I go nuts with headaches when I get them and I do not have migraines. Just take care of yourself sweetie...I bet you are going to go through summer vacation withdraw from students!

Becky....I am happy that you and your hubby are getting some alone time. I would be happy to have the kid back at school too if I was in the same situation. BTW...I think you sleep about as much as I do LOL. Good luck today with day 2....I know you are going to kick start your wl real good again!

Hey Kim aka MadameButterFly...hear from the docs office yet? Are you going with your 1st consult doc or are you still going to other doc just for a 2nd consult kind of thing? BTW did you get my email at your work? I do not remember if I put all the info for you.

Did you all check out MissyN's 10 month pics...wow has she changed a lot!!! Missy if you are reading this...you have done such a great job!!! Keep up the good work...you look great!

Well everyone...I think that is about all I can remember this morning....I am going to go and crawl back in bed for an hour or so before the alarm goes off.

Good morning Janine and all the Cali crew Happy Tuesday - not alot planned for me today - I have someone coming to look at the darned golf cart again today - I just with I could get it sold.....oh well, keeping my fingers crossed that this is the one. Thanks so much Janine for the compliments - and yes, I am a MAC girl indeed......lol And yes, the cold is finally going away and I can't wait for this MAY GRAY to clear up and some warm weather to break through so I can spend some time at the pool and soak up some natural vitamin D..... Good Tuesday Morning to you and all the Crew Janine! Work was the pits yesterday. Had a computer melt down (A G A I N !) and we were down for about 3 hours. Geeze, it's just never ending since the software change last November. Incredible. So frustrating to have our customers call and not be able to help them. Business is flowing away from us to our competitors slowly but surely due to our customers frustration and anger. Upper management knows this but there isn't much they can do as we can't go back now. Whatever. Personally it hurts me in the pocketbook on top of the mental stress. Not to mention business for us in the industry is off anyway due to the economic slowdown. High gas prices, harder access to loans for folks to buy those beautiful, expensive motor homes. Lots' of lay offs going on the last two months or so and sales this spring season is down from last year a lot. So there is a perfect storm with my company... bad economy and we shot ourselves in the foot with the technology change and resulting difficulties in getting it working right. Time will tell how this all plays out, and things will get better, but we on the front line are really having to work extra hard to retain business share from our clients! And on top of that it was COLD and DREARY here yesterday. YUCK is all I can say. Today we should see the sun, according to the weathercasters, and then get hot at the end of the week. That will be great! Not a fan of the May Gray anymore! LOL A shout out to the Inland Empire Loser's here.... don't forget our meeting is this Saturday and is here at my place instead of St. B's.... all the crew should have gotten the e-vite so please let us know if you are coming and e-mail or PM me for the address and directions! Good Morning to you from the Windy and cool High Desert.  It is supposed to be warmer today we'll see.  I want the weather to warm up and quit being windy so I can ride my bike to work.  That wil be how I do it most of the summer.  Things have been hectic here for about the past month for me.  It is really getting in my way too.  It seems like I do not have enough time for anything.  But, I have come to the conclusion that we do these things to ourselves.  So with that being said I am working on time for ME! Yep that is right me time.  Saturday Chuck is taking me out for my birthday it should be fun a dressy affair.  I do beleive I know what it is but I will not say until I am sure.  I am really excited to dress up just he and I in ****tail attire.   I think that the reason he is making it big is that we are not doing a big party and its the big 50 this year.   You know you look back and think when you were a teenager or even in your early 20's that 50 was so old and faraway.  Well, I do not feel old.  Had I not had the surgery I might have felt old.  But I do not. IT is great gotta love the tool that we have been given. So, I signed up for my 175 mile MS bike ride. I amstarting to work on getting significant mileage in so I do not feel dead.  I have never ridden 100 miles in one day but it is doable.  It may take me 10 or so hours but damn it I will finish.  The next day back will be 75 and that is doable too.  So anyone who would like to donate can feel free too.  Janine, hope that the firing in the kiln goes well.  HOw did  the other interview go? Gosh, Miss Ava is getting so big already  Well, need to run busy busy clinic today. Hugs  Liz

Hey Lizzo....I am so proud of you!!!! Congrats on turning 50....you know it is the new 40 and for sure you act more like a 25 year old with all the energy you have. You can count on me for your efforts in riding for MS. It is really shocking about Keri.

Miss Ava gets her helmut on Thursday....egads and yes she is getting big!!! Oh and the kiln...gosh when I cracked it yesterday morning....1030 degrees....yes you read that correctly....too****il mid morning before I could get the stuff out and that was with big thick fire resistant gloves. Thank gawd I do not have hair on my arms or it would have been crinkly from the heat!!!

Morning... My allergies are kicking my butt this morning too.  I think I have sneezed about 50 times. Oye. Not much on the agenda for today other than to come up with some more BS for my paper.  LOL.  I need to flower it up some more and with your suggestions, it shouldnt be a problem. I just have to make sure that I dont get distracted. The instructor gave us no new assignments this week so that we can work on the paper specifically.  Then finals and paper due on the 23rd and I am done for the summer break. Yay And I just have to brag a little bit here....my oldest daughter has signed up for the school talent's show.  Last year, she did it with a partner- but this year she decided to do it herself....and she chose to sing Fergie's Finally.  Now, this is a pretty big song and I have to admit, I was a little worried about her being able to do it.  (of course, I didnt tell HER that). Anyway, last friday were the tryouts and they let my sister, kids and me into the auditorium to listen.  OMG~ she had both my sister and I in tears because she did SO WELL!  After she came off the stage, she came running to us and broke down herself because she was so nervous (and probably seeing us cry didnt help).  So, today she will find out if she will be in the talent show for sure or not.  I am pretty confident that she will be because one of the "judges" (the school secretary) told me yesterday that she was just blown away by her singing.  I know I ask for a lot of thoughts and prayers, but if you all could attach one other little one that Alyssa will get to perform in the talent show, that would be swell!! Alright, I gotta go wake up my babies and get them going for school.  I hope that everyone has a fantastic day and some decent weather.  Our weather is turning on us....getting yucky and should hit 100 degrees by Friday.  Blech Hugs to all!

Good Morning!  Mom is up and packing my stuff getting ready to drive me home. I'm hoping that traffic will be on our side and the 3 hour drive won't turn into 4 or 5.  Went to see Dr. Quiroz yesterday and had the bandages removed.  WOW!!!!  I was speechless.  He told me I had a new body and said I was going to love it.  He turned me to the mirror and all I could do was cry and say thank you over and over again.  He is truely a talented surgeon and has done an amazing job.  It is hard for me to look at the incisions cuz they are pretty nasty, but once they heal up I know I'm going to be thrilled.  Ok....time for my sponge bath and pain meds and then the oh so fun border crossing!  Have a great day!

Happy Tuesday Cali ,, It was a stressful Monday but I pulled through and I even came to work positive fo the week since I have so much planned for this coming weekend ,,, It was cold and cloudy but today it looks nice and warm outside,,,  I hope everyone has a great day ,, *Christine*
