How many of you experience nausea during that time of the month when "Aunt Flow" visits?  I am so nauseous   that I don't want to eat, but I am making myself eat a little.  What do you do if you experience this?   Thanks, Annabelle

No nausea here, but I had raging PMS showing up mainly in the form of fatigue and depression....I was an emotional mess.  My doctor put me on birth control and it has helped so much!!!!  I still feel a little cranky the week previous, but at least now I'm aware of the issue and I can kind of rationalize myself out of it.

Go to your doctor and see if there's something they can put you on.  Your hormones might be a little out of whack, it's very common for WLS patients.

Now if you are going to win any battle you have to do one thing. You have to make the mind run the body. Never let the body tell the mind what to do. The body will always give up. It is always tired in the morning, noon, and night. But the body is never tired if the mind is not tired."

Hi Monica, I am glad you are doing better.  Today I feel a lot better.  I don't suffer as bad as I used to.  I was just real nauseous.  I don't think it is time to go to the OBGYN yet...........but I am watching to see if I need to. Thanks, Annabelle

I'm sorry you are feeling this way!  I don't feel nausea, but do have a much heavier flow than I use to, and it lasts longer.  Hope you feel better soon!!!  Tell that aunt she is "cramping" your style and to get out of town :)

hey there.. I have the same problem.. my doc has me take an extra multi for the week of the flow.. since I am anemic.. the iron being low affects all my energyl.. so extra nutrients & lots of extra water has actually helped to balance it out.. and also when it gets too much I take a swig of pepto.. my doc advised it to help with the urge to purge.. and it works for the most part..  good luck.. i am over 3 years out & my monthly still messes with me...
