Today is the day

This morning is my surgery. I had a tough time sleeping last night. Woke up every hour it seemed and looked at my alarm clock. So finally at 3:30am I got up and took my shower and I am dressed and waiting for hubby to wake up. It's just about 4am and we have to be at the hospital at 5:30am. Will take about 45 minutes to get there. I am not feeling as nervous this morning as I had been the past couple of days. Yesterdays liquid diet was easier than I though it would be. Lots of chicken broth and water!! I think I lost 5 pounds lol. Anyway I think I hear hubby up and about now. Wish me luck today. I am excited now. Glad the jitters are over for now. Once I get the hospital I am sure my white coat syndrome will kick in again though.. but I am just happy today is the day and will be the start of a new life for me..... a better life.  Thank you to everyone who has commented on my blog or sent me well wishes.. it really means a lot to me.  Hugs to everyone, Dona

Good Luck! By now you might be out of surgery. I'll get the shakes I think. I will not be myself that day whenever my day comes.

Congratulations, you are probably a LOSER by now!!! I'm so excited for you and glad the jitters went away. There really is nothing to worry about but plenty to be excited about!!!  Yaaaayyyyyy for you for taking control of your life and starting over!!!!           big hugs, Becky7
