Ready for Surgery Tomorrow!
Well, other than being pretty hungry, I'm ready for surgery tomorrow. I have my list of things to pack for the hospital, and actually have everything on the list except sugar-free suckers for the dry-mouth syndrome. My DH still needs to set up the laptop so that I can use it in the hospital, since the hospital said they have a WIFI net. I don't want to keep the laptop in the hospital, though, so I'll send it home with him at night. I'm thinking I should probably put together a little file of directions, though, in case the worst happens, to state my wishes for the disposition of my quilting stuff and family heirlooms. I figure that if I prepare for the worst, then the worst won't happen... but no use freaking by DH out, since he's nervous enough. I'll just put it into an envelope and stick it under the rest of the crap on his dresser - where it would take him days to find. That sounds so melodramatic, doesn't it? But I am a firm believer in Murphy, so as long as I'm prepared, I'm safe. Now let's see, what else am I forgetting? - Carol
