Happy Mother's Day Sunday Edition

Well Good Morning OH and a special Happy Mothers Day to all of you mothers of children and furbabies!!!    It is the one day of the year that is set aside to honor us mothers....although everyday should be honored because we are some of the hardest working people in world.     

I actually heard this clip on World News that said if mothers were acutally paid for what they did....OMG we would be 6 figure income earners! Now there is a concept eh?                      Think us mom's work hard enough?

My son's use to always say to me...mom what can we do for you on mothers day....I always replied...be nice to be all year! Although I do have to admit when they were in their teens, I told them the best way for me to spend mothers day was not having to be a mom that day! Oh it use to irk them!

I have not been on the boards a whole lot since Friday morning I do not think...and there has been little activity.

Chris S way cool that you posted yesterday....yes I did sleep in...although I did get up in the middle of the night, I went right back to bed. Long, long exhausting week. I sure hope that you have a wonderful time on your cruise and I hope you have plenty of warm clothes to wear!

Diane....you have plenty to brag about and I am so happy for you. I know you do not brag a whole lot...but you should. You have come so far and have lost so much! I just marvel at your stamina and your determination. You never cease to amaze me!!! Congrats and plastics or no plastics you are one hot moma!!!

I am also happy for Kristin who went through her reconstructive surgery yesterday...and OMG awake???? YIkes and pictures of the operation....bigger YIKES!!! You are one hell of a woman Kristin!!! I am quite sure you are going to be way past excited with the results! Congrats to you also!

DonaS I know you are nervous about your surgery on Monday, but you know we all would worry about you if you were not. You are going to come through this in flying colors! Good luck to you!

Monica W....I think it is awesome that Jordyn is already sleeping through the night. I know you have to feel the same way. I remember when my oldest first started doing it...scared me at first but then it was like YIPPIE!!!

Sue...you go girl with doing that 10K walk and Miss Sammi getting out there and walking a mile too! WOW! Does this mean she is going to want pancakes this morning? Soon she will wanting to make you breakfast on Mothers Day!

Jillie...how are you doing gf? Wasn't it Dusty prom this weekend? Last night after we were at this wedding Jeff, my son and his wife and me went downtown and saw all kinds of kids dressed up for prom night...OMG they were cracking me up....all grown up and styled out! Hope he had a great time!

Jean...thought of you yesterday as I sat in the makeup chair at MAC. I went in there to get some eyelashes..and the gal offered to put them on and do my makeup. It was like yeah baby!!! What have you been up to? Been sort of MIA on the boards!

Jodi...were you out gardening yesterday? You do have a whole lot going on in your yard for sure!!! WOW, but with the blast of color that is going to imerge....it is going to be spectacular! How are you feeling too? I hope that you have been taking your medicine!

Kim aka MadameButterly...you're a party animal!!!! I think it so awesome about that photo shoot....and you are tiny girl! Just wait until the body lift....those models will not be able to hold a candle to ya. You are going to SIZZLE!!!!! I am so happy for you!

Hey 5-day Pouchie People....I hope that today brings another day of success for you. I know how hard it has been and I am proud and happy for all of you who have recommitted to their tool and stopped the craziness and got back to basics. You all are doing a fantastic job!

Well what do you all have planned for today?

Me I plan on just kicking it with my kids at some point...maybe get some more sleep as I am burnt out from yesterday...I had a lot of running around to do before I went to my friends wedding and then just partying!

Good Morning all......

I hope that everyone was able to sleep in and get some rest. Its mother day and you should all be able to relax. Take the day off. I sure wish I could.

Yesterday was heck at work and my co-partner in crime left early. So I was alone, when the gates to that warm place opened up on me. Today is going to be just as bad. I can just feel it. I guess it a good thing I made a whole pot of coffee. That way I can take some with me this morning. LOL

I spoke with Kristen last night, she sounded really good. I only got to speak to her for about 30 seconds because I was at work, but really she sounded great.

OK time to jump in the shower and start my day. Take care all. Now don't forget support group is coming up fast. I hope you are making plans to be there.

Good morning Janine and the OH crew.

I haven't been here in quite some time.  I have been real busy looking for a new house and a job.  No luck on the job but I finally found a house.  I will be moving in next weekend.  The best part is it is just a couple of blocks from where I am now.  In the same neighborhood which means I don't need to change the kids school.  Hopefully, a job will be around the corner.

I just wanted to pop in here and wish all you wonderful, hardworking moms a wonderful, peaceful day.  I told my kids all I wanted was a day off from housework and cleaning.  Plus, I want to be able to play on pogo without being asked when I am getting off the computer.  Not too much to ask.  I will have to do mine and my sons laundry but I can handle that.

Kids said they would cook dinner for me.  Hopefully, they will do the dishes too afterwards. 

Everyone have a blessed day.  Say an extra prayer for me to find a job soon!!

Good Morning Janine and Cali, Happy Mother's Day to all.  My first one has started well.  Donald surprised me with a card in the mail last week and my co-teacher gave me a huge bouquet of pink roses on friday.  My mom left a bag in the living room but i haven't let on i've seen it yet.  We are going to chruch this morning and then enjoying a restful day. everyone enjoy the day Monica

Good morning Janine and Cali and Happy Mom's day to ALL the Moms! DH is working today. It's the biggest eating out day of the year and the restaraunts need their produce. LOL. My Mom, Sammi and I are going to go to the Moose Lodge for our free mom's day breakfast. Sammi did say last night she wanted pancakes today, I'm not sure if we have the option or not. Today is also my Grandpa's 84th birthday so the family is going to take him for dinner tonight.  Looking forward to taking a nap with Sammi this afternoon. Happy Mothers Day to you and all the other Mothers here Janine! Yes women do a lot of work for their families and should indeed be honored all year! My thing has always been to remember to say "Thank you!" as often as I could for all my Mom did for us over the years. A hug and a thank you at least acknowledged I knew she was working dawn to bedtime to do her best to create a beautiful home and a loving, nurturing life for our family.  Janine you look FABULOUS in that dress. What a perfect outfit for a spring wedding!!! As far as the hernia repair it is going well I guess. It'll be four weeks Tuesday and it is still sore I am frustrated to say. Better every week but still... I'm a guy... we whine ya know! LOL But it is all good. I just want to "do" and can't without knowing I was cut on. They surgeon has me restricted to not lifting anything more than 15 pounds until the first of June. Do you know how many things there are you just grab that weigh more than 15 pounds??? It was a lovely, warm afternoon here yesterday and I spent some time in the garden. Just feeding plants and deadheading the roses. There is much to do to get the garden back to lush but that comes in time and since I can't do a lot of heavy work just yet..... (whine whine) LOL Today D and I are going to visit Mom for a while later on.  Hope all y'all have a terrific day! (((((BigBearHugz)))))
