Good morning Chris and Cali! Have a blast on your cruise Chris! Here's to safe and fun travels. Janine - I hope this means you are actually getting some sleep. I know you have been super busy and probably completely exhausted. How did the interview go yesterday? I'm about ready to hop in the water then wake Sammi up. I'm up early today as I  have to go pick up my Mom and my supervisor and head to Morro Bay for the 10K Miracle miles for kids. I'm a little nervous as I have never walked a 10K, I have a bruised knee, a torn ligament in my thumb and I will be pushing Sammi in the stroller. Yikes! It's all good though. The good new is I'm NOT 300 lbs. anymore. LOL. I wouldn't (and didn't) ever attempt such a thing a year ago. Definately a busy Moms day weekend in store for us. Better get moving. Hope everyone has a great weekend. Sue

Take it one step at time.

Sue, you are going to do great. 10k is nothing to you now. Have fun and enjoy all that is going on around you and wont even miss the miles behind you as the finish line comes into site. You will be all....."we're done?".

You rock!

Thanks Lu! The 10K was good. Sammi even got out of the stroller and walked a little over a mile herself. It was such a beautiful path right along the water's edge. We finished in about 2 hours and 15 min. and since we had a bit of terrain that was difficult with the stroller, I'm pretty pleased. It definately felt great to finish and to be able to say "I did it!" Thanks again for the support. It means alot. try not to work too hard this weekend Sue

I am blessed with getting to work 12 hours today, tomorrow and on monday. Oh joy!

But one week from today is support group, and I get to see everyone. Its been a life time since we have seen each other, and I just cant wait. We are going to have great fun. Now don't forget we are moving the meeting back to Steve and D house and if you dont know how to get there, be sure to ask Steve. (I would tell you, but you would end up in Mexico)

I was thinking we should do lunch after the meeting. And that D should cook for us :-p.           JUST PLAYING!

OK time to get moving. Coffee is calling my name.

Love ya all

Good Morning Chris and all the Cali Crew! WooooooWhooooo.... it's the weekend! Slept in a bit myself and am just sippin' my coffee now. Hope our morning host Janine is sleeping in and getting some rest for a change! A big Bon Voyage to you Chris! I'm sure you are more than ready for your cruise and know you are going to have a great time! I'm hoping the May Gray burns off soon and we get a sunny afternoon today. The garden is calling my name but I do hate gardening when is is damp and chilly. Tomorrow is Mothers Day and brunch with my Mom.  Wishing you and all the Crew a Super Saturday Chris! Wooohoooo, it's the weekend.  Only problem is they are not long enough.  I am doing ok with the working routine, but I am still tired.  By the end of the week it looks like someone has dragged me through the parking lot.  It's off to another office this next week, and I will probably stay there for a bit.  I will be doing undercover work seeing if the girl working there is worth keeping or if I need her to be out of a job.  I am hiping that with some training she can be ok and not have to let her go.  It's not easy getting a job out there.   Oh yeah, some good news from my scale this morning, I am in the 220's.  HOLY CRAP!!!!  I can't even remember that far back, but I think I may have been around 21 when I weighed that.  Hadn't even even met Doug when I weighed that. To all, have a great Mothers Day tomorrow.  I will spend some quiet time with my mom, who sits on a shelf in my room.  It's a difficult day for me and my sisters.  We miss our mom alot, and tomorrow just makes it miss her even more than normal. All take care/  Hugs, Diane

Good afternoon California!  I just got back from walking 1.5 miles and while I'm very excited to have covered that distance, backin 1998 I ran the Portland Marathon and going for five + miles during training was nothing to me.  Oh well, I have to start again somewhere.  I'll get back there someday. Have a great afternoon and evening everyone!
