Just had G-bypass surgery - looking for support group

Thanks so much for the welcome...seems like a lot of wonderful people use this site!!  I live in Fallbrook...about as far north as you can go and still be in SD County!!  That would be awesome to join the luncheon group some time...if my work schedule allows it.  Thanks for the invite and hope to meet you before too long!! Welcome DC!  Glad to hear you are doing well!  My doctor's office has several support groups a month - open to anyone - and of course, I have that info at work.  HOWEVER . . . Steve J. posts support group info quite often on here (and damn if I know how to search for posts on here).  It has all the contact info in his list (under San Diego).  One of the groups is in Oceanside I think.  The others are down by Sharp Memorial hospital.  I go to the 1st Monday of the month (general support), and 2nd Monday of the month (nutrition).  The groups are mixed bypass/lapband with lots of input and feedback and networking.  I'm leaving on vacation, so won't be here this week - but best of luck to you!
