Lemon Water??????????

HI everyone well my first week post op appointment went fantastic yesterday.  I lost 17 pounds in a week I am shocked.  I was cleared for pureed.  So here is my question.  I love Lemon in my water so I had some yesterday and now I am craving it.  Is water with lemon ok???  Please let me know.  Thanks, Amber

hey Amber congratson the 17 lbs.. Weigh to go.. woot woot.. as for Lemon water I was told it was ok by my Dr bc I love lemon water.. but then every Dr has their own proticall so you may want to ask just to be on the safe side..Best of Luck!

Hey Amber.. how silly of me..  I didnt even bother to look who your Dr was.. lol .. well then its fair to say 'Drink Up Girl' lol.. I even suck the juice out of lemons.. lol have been since one month post op.. lol I just love lemons. 

Hi,  You may want to reconsider sucking the juice from the lemon, people who do this often enough will get etching and/or pits in their enamel on their teeth due to the very high acid content of the lemon. Hey Kim thanks for the info.. its funny.. people have been telling me that my whole life.. and I have still been doing it my whole life and at 35 I still have the strongest healthiest teeth ever.. not even one cavity.. woot woot.. lol Maybe I just got lucky.. lol

LOL that makes me feel better I thought I was the only one who loved to suck the juice out of lemons. HAHA I do not do it now but I guess in a month I totally can.  Think it can be considered liquids LOL.  Thanks again for your help.
