Hey Linda, I know how ya feel.  You want that surgery YESTERDAY Its all good!  A lot of us have been there.  You're gonna get there!  Easier said than done right?  I don't wanna use a cliche' but I'm gonna say it anyways.  Everything happens for a reason. It's true!  I bet it will make you a better loser!  I had set backs too.  My primary care physician wanted to run every test in the damn book.  I was sooo freakin frustrated.  Sometimes its like that.  However, I found peace in it somewhere. I don't remember where though Its gonna happen for ya! Keep us posted! Hugs!

Thank you so much for the encouraging words.  Your right.  When I got the word that the surgery was approved, I was foolish to think everything would just move right along.  I know the bottom line is that I don't want the Dr. to take unecessary risks and that it is in my best interest, I was just hopeful that I would at least get my surgery date.  I know the date will be a couple of months out and this just delays it. But your right, everything happens for a reason. I do have faith in God that it will happen in his time, not mine.  I am a single mom, and I want to make it through surgery with as little risk as possible, so if that means having to wait a little longer to make sure there isn't anything wrong with my heart, I can live with that.   Thank you Linda

Linda....dang! Is there ANY CHANCE that they will accept the results from the echo within the past year??

IF not, well, then, just trust that the timing will be perfect for you in June... sorry to hear about the delay!

How is your car? Or are you busing it these days? LOL....

Linda,  Keep the faith!  You will get through this.  I know how disappointing it can be now that you have the approval.  Just know we are all wishing you the best! ~Naomi

Hi, I too had the hoops to jump through and kept getting hung up w/ stupid stuff along the way (doctors staff giving me wrong info about what would be done or not making the address clear of where they were at and when I called to get the correct address the answering service picked up, and it was 8:45 am and they had been open since 7AM!!) oh well.  Anyway, see if they can put you on a cancellation list and call you if someone cancel's their appointment and you can get put in their spot. The place that did my stress test gave priority to people scheduling for surgery so make sure they know this is pre surgery testing. Hang in there, Kim
