Don't forget me on that trip to Vegas now girls!!! Jillie, thanks for doing the Thursday posts girlfriend!!! Today is a good day, my baby (Tara 15) finally went back to school today!!!! Can you say YIPPPPPEEEEE and YAHOOOOO!!! I love her of course, but she has been home with me EVERY day for about 3 months now and it was getting OLD!!! Kids need to be at school and with their friends!! I'm worried about her starting a new school where she may not know anyone, but hopefully this will be a great new start for her!!! (long story short...she was going to a Charter HS that closed and then we missed the semester cut off for the big HS here, that is tooooo big and scary for her anyway. So she has been doing independent study until the continuation HS was taking new students. It is a year round HS and everyone who has had to send their kids there, say it is the best thing that ever happened to them, so hopefully it will be for Tara too!) Today and tomorrow are her orientation and she starts for real on Monday!!! I think she is ready even though she won't admit it. She is my shy, no self esteem, and anxiety ridden child and is behind in credits. I worry about her, so I hope this is a turn for the good in her life. Good almost afternoon Jilliecats and Cali crew!! Yeah I'm now officially used to the out of no where 3lb gain.  It does knock me back a moment but JUST a moment.  I've been noticing the pattern for like years now.  Even on Weigh****chers it would happen.  So it's just another part of ME that makes me ME...and since I'm in love with myself...I have no choice but to LOVE me.  The "gain" is already gone.  NOW to figure out how to go to Vegas tomorrow till Monday and still loose.  I might have to bring my weight and food scale on this trip. Good morning Jillie and Cali Crew! Yes, I became a 'scale ho' for the past week, but I am over it. I will only weigh on Wednesdays now. I am so excited about my weight loss! Hope everyone has a great day! =)

Hi Jillie and the rest of the Cali Folks - I've got to rearrange my life or something.  Everyday I faithfully read the daily callout, but usually not until the afternoon!  It is always such a good way to feel connected, even if up to now I'm mostly been lurking.  But now I need for you guys to start praying for me.  Tomorrow is my last day of "unrestricted food" - then two days of clear liquids and surgery at 6:30 Monday morning.  I'm really glad it is finally almost here - but the anxiety kicks in, too.  The "Omigod" feeling of giving up chocolate for maybe forever and ever.  The "Please let my marriage only get stronger through this whole journey."  All those niggly thoughts, and then I remember that I'm gonna be skinny, and have energy, and be able to buckle an airline seatbelt, etc.  Oh, yeah, it's definitely going to be worthwhile!  I can't wait to join you on the Loser's Bench! - Carol

Hi Jillie and Cali crew....

It's Friday morning and I'm responding to the Thursday shout-out......sometimes that's the way my life is....a day late and I'm sure I'm at least a dollar short too!!!

I'm like the other girls.....definitely put my name on the Las Vegas trip list!!!!!  My daughter, Annastacia, and her husband are leaving this morning for Vegas.  They are going to the Cher show on Saturday night.  I know, I know, LUCKY them!!!!  (We celebrated Mother's Day on Wednesday evening since they'll be gone.)

My wish is for all the women on OH to have a truly blessed Mother's Day.  We, as women, naturally tend to "mother" others, so let's all enjoy OUR day.
