Good Morning California - Happy Thursday

Well, well, well, it is Thursday so I guess it my turn at the typing today.  I again want to thank you, Paula, for giving me a bright spot by honoring me with the POTW.  I can hardly wait to get that Vegas trip planned.  All I have to do is win the lottery and I will take everyone to Vegas!  WOO HOO!!!

 

O.k.  on to the shout out!

 

First off, yippee skippee for Shells Bells, coming through surgery with flying colors.  I also want to say congrats to Heather H. on her year anniversary.  I cannot believe that it has been that long.  It truly seems like yesterday.  That means we’re getting old because the time is going by faster.  I don’t like that!

 

Janine – here is hoping that you get a full night sleep.  I just don’t know how you stay so chipper with such little sleep.  Also, a big HUGE congrats to you for working the tool after six years.  You are living proof that the tool will work for a long time.  Thank you for sharing your insight with us all.

 

Lynnie – Huge hugs to you.   Who won the volleyball game?  At the high school here, we have donkey basketball, the FFA plays the faculty and it is sooooooo funny.  They actually ride the donkeys up and down the basketball court.  The rule is you have to be on your donkey to pass the ball or to shoot a basket.  I guess that tells you that I live in redneck country, doesn’t it?  LOL!!!!

 

Lu – Congrats on the big loss of weight.  That is truly working it.  I hope that you and Auntie Mo have fun while she is here visiting.

 

Steve – Good Morning!!  TGIF is coming.  One more day, thank goodness.  This has been a long week, that’s for sure.  I hope you have something fun and exciting planned for your weekend!

 

Sue (taz) -  Today is Thursday!!!  Montgomery Gentry day!!!  Have a fantastic time and don’t boogie too much.  Enjoy your time with hubby.

 

Monica – Good for you, starting back exercising.  I think you will stay motivated with the preggo girls LOL  that makes me think of spaghetti (get it, the prego sauce???)  Have a wonderful day.

Katt with a “K” – Shame on you!  You are a scale ho at one week????  What are we going to do with you, girl!  I am glad you are so happy about your WLS.  You are going to do great with that attitude!

We were all set to play (the staff and 8th grade) but, mother nature would not cooperate. We had pretty heavy drizzle and it was cold so our principal called the game for safety reasons as well as, the little kids being cold out in the sprinkles. May 7th and it was in the 50s and heavy drizzle YOU JUST NEVER KNOW WHAT the weather WILL BE in southern california.....
I have heard of the donkey basketball unfortunately we do not have anyone with donkeys.... your town sounds fun!

Good Morning Jillie girl and all the Cali Crew! Yea.... Thursday and I can see TGIF sitting on the horizon; close, so very close! WooooooWhooooo! Nothing much on our agenda for this weekend other than spending time with Mom on Sunday for Mother's Day.  BIG congratulations on being chosen for POTW this week Jill.... you do that tiara proud buddy! FYI to all, the WWW total for yesterday was 32 pounds lost. Good job crew, especially Katt and her 14.5#'s lost! You go girl! Hope everyone has a Terrific Thursday and, on another note, THANK GOD Jason Castro was sent home last night on American Idol! I can stop holding my breath now! LOL (((((BigBearHugz)))))

You made my day, saying I was "little"!  This far out, those little compliments dont come as often and you begin to have self-doubt coming back into your head.  I guess everyone around me is just so used to me being at this weight and everyone here in Lemoore never knew me when I was big.... Anyway, thank you for that! I would like to ask that everyone keeps Mike and his crew in their thoughts and prayers over this weekend as they have some missions to go out on.  While I am going to try my darndest to enjoy myself in Monterey, that will always be in the back of my mind. OH!  To my Secret Pal~I received your gift yesterday and I SO appreciate my little angel!  You are great!  I have got to come up with some other way to display them, the one that I have now is starting to get a bit packed.  lol  But, that is OKAY!  I love my angels!!! You can tell you don't get much of a chance to read the boards anymore. Anutie MO lives here, she had been out of town for 10 day, and just got back. She had a wonderful time but was very happy to be home.

Not much going on today. I'm off today, but need to go in to work for a few hours. Oh Joy!

Thank you Jillie!  And good morning to everyone in California today.  I'm taking it easy today.  With my husband's surgery last week and some problems with my oldest son, the stress has finally kicked my b*u*t*t and I'm feeling worn out today.   Tomorrow I'm going out to lunch with some friends from High School and I'm feeling a little bit intimidated because I still have 75 pounds to lose (wishing I was at goal) but I'm sure I'll end up having a great time if I just put the weight issue aside and relax.  We're going to Cheesecake Factory, so I'm going to get on their website and figure out SOMETHING I can have and just plan to eat very little.   Everyone have a great day today!!
