Thank you for the clarification. I consider myself to be among the ranks of very intelligent adults and your message was not clear to me, otherwise I would not have questioned it. However, if your posts are "frequently" taken out of context, then maybe you should consider that the common denominator in the negative exchange is you.  No offense taken, none given.  Shontae

You're obviously missing the point.  I get along fine with 99.9% of people on the boards.  There are a few who choose to challenge every word in every post.  That's where the "fluff" comes in...I refuse to read and re-read and then read again every single post I make to make sure it's PC.  That's not what we're here for.  And if one person among many pulls out a word that doesn't quite rank among their favorite, then I do believe I'm correct in saying that THEY are the one with the problem.  I challenge you to do your research with people on these boards...I'm positive that the majority would NOT support your conclusion that I amd the common denominator in ANY negative exchange.

That is a challenge that I do not have time for. I am 12 days post op and I have more important things to do. I am very capable of drawing my own conclusions based upon what I read on the boards. I did not miss any of the points in your original post, but your comment stood out, so I simply asked. I see that this could go on forever with you, and make no mistake I am not at a loss for words, but I am going to chalk this up as a misunderstanding, so that you can feel that you got the last word as I see  it is important to you. I will focus on my recovery and continue to use the boards for the valuable resource that it is.... while weeding out the "fluff".

Janine, You are a true inspiration.  I remember when you first mentioned this and I was thinking, I need to get my act together too.  Instead I gave into my stress eating and here I am today: crying out for help because I am sooooo scared of regaining my weight. This is another reminder that I am only human AND I need to use my tool wisely if I want to maintain my weight loss.   Geezzzzz.....  Where is that miracle drug????  (OK, I'm just kidding!!!)

Fruit and veggies are my carbs, however I do eat soy snacks that have some carbs and things like salad dressing, very small protien bars...things like that add up to my total 40-50 carb intake a day. I also eat Light and Fit yogurt, but that is only 3 carbs per 4 oz serving.

Thanks Catt for asking and looking too! I need to post a new body pic soon!
