KILTS??
Hi guys...This came up on the Men's Board. Just wanted some feedback. A couple of men were talking about more and more men are wearing kilts. This is not in just in your metro-Starbuck sipping communities, but on a "Main Street" situation. Just wondering if you are seeing more in public situations? Spending time in England, I would think nothing of it seeing them on the streets. This sort of reminds me of men with earrings. They first came out big time into society about 1980...now we think nothing of it. The same with women having tatoos. No biggie. Just wondering if you're seeing the men around you wearing them? Brian
Yeh, I saw those Utili-kilts. They really look cool (in more ways than one). I just can't see myself wearing one till I see others around me doing it. Once I start seeing them at a college football game or a major league baseball game...You'll see me in one. Just can't see myself walking into the gym or barber shop with one on yet. Brian
Come on, Brian! Life's too short to wait for someone else to do it... don't follow - take the freakin' lead already and get thee a KILT!!! (I'll be right there with you... well, ok... behind you... several feet behind you!
I haven't seen any locally, but have considered picking one up for the fun... it would be interesting to play a dive bar gig wearing a kilt! hmmm... maybe I can find one for Friday night!

Hi Brian,
My husband and I are "regulars" at a restaurant here in Manteca called Kelley Brothers. The owner, Joe, wears his kilt once in a while. He always wears it on St. Patrick's Day too. Another friend from Kelley's named Rick (I call him my brother- we were born on the same day, same hour, within 20 miles of each other- small world!) wears his kilt there quite frequently. You could wear a kilt to Kelley's without anyone batting an eyebrow. I've been going there for at least 5 years and kilts are part of that place, for sure!
