Nearly a Happy Monday!

Mornin' folks! Well, afternoon, rather.

Not much for me today, had a little excitement this morning as the gas company came and shut off our gas! Apparently we missed paying a bill somewhere (not a big surprise to me with as crazy as it has been around here the last couple months!!) and never saw the disconnect they say they sent out. Got it all taken care of, drove down to the company office directly and got it all paid up, and they are coming back this afternoon to turn it back on! I was upset this morning though, I tell ya!

Other than that, just more of the same for me, little bits of cleaning that I want to do here and there and getting together a few things that I want to take to the hospital (clothes to come home in, a couple magazines, stuff like that) so that I can get it in a backpack and ready to go.

I am off to go make sure there is a clear path to the water heater (it's in the backyard) so he can relight it when he gets here and then find something to put in my tummy, today is my last day of food, and I am finding I don't even want it!

Afternoon Janine and Cali! It was a very busy monday morning and just now getting to this post. Glad to hear you enjoyed your weekend. Sam's parents took Sammy late yesterday afternoon for the night so DH and I had some quiet time to ourselves. that was nice. Today was a very busy Monday. Looking forward to Thursday. DH and I are going to the Mongomery Gentry concert at the Casino in Santa Inez. I've very excited as it has been a LONG time since I've gone to a concert and they are one my favorite Country Music duos. Then next Saturday is the 10K Miracle Miles for Kids. I'll be walking with Sammi in the stroller. It's going to be on the beach between Morro Rock and Cuyucos Pier. I'm excited about it. My Mom is walking too and a couple people from work. It's going to be a busy week ahead for sure. Hope everyone enjoys what is left of their day Sue

I guess I'll say good morning before it turns into the evening.  No work today, had four doctor appts and then had to finish the deal for Dusty's car.  1999 Toyota Solara with only 70,000 miles on it.  It is a beautiful car, much nicer than mine!  I'm jealous.  I also got the guy to knock off almost $1000 and I gave him the 1986 El Camino that was wrecked.  I know it is a classic but I feel better that he will actually fix it up instead of it sitting in my garage until I have great grandchildren!  LOL!!
