TGIF CALI
I have been up for 3 hours and I am already having a bad day (we were expecting our rebate checks from the IRS today and found out that because we e-filed via HR Block theyre getting mailed, in two weeks, which leaves us seriously scrambling!) so I am just dropping in a quick type by this morning and I am off to go do something to try and get my mind off everything.
I hope everyone has a great Friday, and I can't wait to see the folks who are stopping by the party tonight!

TGIF Cali Crew, Janine- sorry to hear about the computer and your eyes. I hope both gets better soon. Well the bike ordeal is over. Day before yesterday, I had purchased a bike (Electra Townie 21 speed) from I. Martins Bikes. I got the bike home and noticed that the bike's rear fender was "broken" in two places. I called the bike store yesterday to explain the "situation". The owner told me to bring the bike to the store and they will order and replace the fender for no charge. The owner asked where are the broken parts and I pointed to them. He said that the fenders were made like that to accomodate the chain and to fit not rub on the left side of the bike and scratch it. I felt so stupid after that. So basically, I wasted a trip to the bike store for nothing. The guy who sold me the bike , Jason, asked if the dogs could be called off on this situation and the owner (Jaime) told him yes. Needless to say, I felt kind of foolish after the fact. The upside was that I got a great deal for a fully loaded bike. No running for the last two days (got to let the muscles recup). No running until Sunday... Santa Monica Classic 10K. What was I thinking when I agreed to that? Have a great weekend. Kim
