Please HELP !!!
Can someone tell me if this is ok? Yesterday my weight was 288.8 lbs. and Today it is 289.6 lbs.
I followed my diet I'm on my 3rd week out, I just drank my juices, proteins and my soup, not even custard or anything else, just the cream of wheat.
Is this possible or you guys think that I didn't weight myself right yesterday?

Hide your scale!!!!! You are going to fluctate up and down, stall and loose. Its ok. Your body is adjusting and you will drive yourself crazy if you weigh all the time. I know its hard and you may be scared that this will not work, but it will. Follow your plan, drink your water, take your vitamins and exersice as best you can. Rember you did not put this weight on overnight and it will not come off overnight either.
Yep, its totally normal. Especially woman can have huge water weight fluctuation. Also, I apologize for my frankness, but at 3 weeks out I wasn't pooping...so there was that... er...build up too.
Focus on doctors orders and your weight will come off. Try weighing only weekly or monthly. However, if you are the type that is motivated by the scale...weigh a way!

I agree, hide the scale. I didn't even own one until I was about a month or so post op, then I tried to keep it at once a week. My scale is psycho too. I can step on 3 or 4 times in a row and get 3 or 4 different readings!
I did turn into a scale ho for a while and weighed everyday. It was motivating. I have calmed back down again and weigh once or twice a week.

I'm just past 10 weeks out from surgery, and a very similar thing happened to me. I've had a plateau (at least I thought that's what it was) for most of that time. I lost 14 pounds the first week and then nothing. It was very frustrating! I weighed every day, and it drove me CRAZY, but looking back, I'm glad I did it, because if I hadn't, I never would have known that something was wrong.
My program instructs me to have between 80-100 grams of protein a day -- and that's EXACTLY what I was doing. The only thing is, that was apparently just enough protein to keep me stalled! It seems like very few people have this experience. Most people seem to be able to lose even on 65 or so! I have NO idea why I need more than the average WLS patient, but after almost being at my wit's end (I mean, I HAVE just allowed myself to go under the knife -- I have made the ultimate decision to lose weight), I went to my surgeon in tears. He gave me specific instructions to increase my protein to nearly 150 grams a day. The result? I'm losing 1 pound or more a day, which is what I'm supposed to be losing. Since then I've done a lot of research online, and found several "protein needs" calculators that tell you how many grams of protein you should be getting for your weight. I was shocked to find that my needs at my current weight are 121 to 180 grams a day!! Yikes! No wonder I wasn't losing anything! Now just because that's what he told me, I'm not telling you to do the same. Do exactly what your doctor tells you; it's likely that what he's telling you will work for you, like it does for most people. My point in sharing my story with you is that if you're still having this problem after a few weeks, don't be afraid to go back and ask questions. I would probably be 30 pounds less than I am right now if I'd known THEN what I know NOW! There is a purpose and a season for everything, so I know the Lord had a purpose in my life for it, but it was still no fun going through that!
