10 DAYS POST OP

HEY EVERYONE !!!

  I went to my post op appointment yesterday and meet with my Dr.  He was very patient with me with all of my questions.  I wanted to know what was next.  Come to find out I can eat ALL soft foods for 4 1/2 weeks and take a multi vitamin as well as Advil (for the pain on my left side) I was told in Kaiser Options Class that I could no longer take Advil.  

Well drum roll........... I lost 23 lbs in 10 days.  Can you belive it:?  23 lbs in 10 days. 



Never in my entire life have I lost 23 lbs in 10 days.  

However, I am so glad that the pain is gone. 

SHARDON WOW CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU ... 23LBS IN 10 DAYS IS AWESOME! CONTINUED SUCCESS ON YOUR JOURNEY. I HAVE A FEELING YOU WILL BE AT GOAL BEFORE YOU KNOW IT.  I'M GLAD YOUR PAIN IS GONE. I HOPE THAT YOU DON'T HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE ADVIL. I KNOW EVERY DR. IS DIFFERNT WITH WHAT THEY WANT YOU TO HAVE AND DON'T. JUST STICK WITH WHAT HE SAYS AND I'M SURE YOU WILL STAY PAIN FREE. HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY.

Your the only other person besides me that has had that left side stabbing pain.  Im 10 months out and sorry to say, it doesnt go away.  If I stand up to quickly I get it or drink too fast.  The MD's that I work with all think its scar tissue.  Congrats on the weight loss!!!

So glad you saw the doctor.  Poor thing, I know that it was a rough time for you.  What does he say about that pain?  Does he know what it is?  Also Holly, if you read this, I would go back to the doc and see what he says, alot of us had left side pain, and it's gone.   Shardon, I am so proud of you, you are doing wonderful and those few days in bed were all worth it now huh?  Continue to do well, and you will be surprised where you will be a year from now.
