Update...and exciting news!

Well…Life has been a bit crazy on my end lately.  I haven’t had much time to post, but I have been lurking here at work and keeping myself up to date on the going on’s.

 

It's time to update my OH family on the happenings in my life.  :-)  I’ve been thinking a lot over the past year about having my plastic surgery, but decided I would re-think it after the marathon.  I’ve had some consults and have set a date.  May 9^th I will be having a Lower Body Lift!  YIKES!  Since I made my decision, I’ve really started working my tool again and have lost another 10 lbs. and am currently 145 lbs.  That’s a loss of 105 lbs and I am officially 5 lbs. below my goal.   I’ve decided to have Dr. Quiroz in Tijuana do my surgery.  I’ve met with him and he’s amazing.  I’ve also talked and visited with others who have used him…..they look wonderful.  As you probably know, I had my LapBand done in also.  The only concern I have right now about going across the border for surgery is the recent unrest in the Tijuana area.  I’m hoping things calm down over there in the next couple weeks.

 

 

This whole process has been really emotionally draining for me.  One minute I’m so excited I can’t contain it….the next minute, I’m so terrified of the surgery and pain.  I wonder if I’m strong enough to deal with it all…but deep down, I know I’m doing the right thing.  Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers. 

 

 

Oh WOW What a big step, and I bet it will be just fine. You are finally taking some time for you. After all your marathon running I think this is a wonderful thing to do for yourself. You will be in my thoughts and prayers for a perfect surgery and I will be sending you all those positive vibes to help you get through it all with minimal pain and speedy recovery and hopes that everything is calm in Tijuana for you by time you go. Hey K!

Sorry I will not be in town for support.  But you know I am just a phone call or text away.  You are going to have a safe and successful surgery.  I will be thinking about you.  I will be back to work on May 12. 

I will be back somewhere between the 13th and 15th.  I'm thinking some Baja Fresh lunch will be in order....although I won't be able to drive so you'll have to go pick it up!  :-)

You are going to do so well with this surgery - you've planned well for it and done lots of research - it's gonna go well and you are going to look HOT when all is said and done... not that you don't alreay look great! Don't spend the last week before surgery letting yourself get worked up... you need to relax so that your bod is relaxed and ready for the adventure! C h e e r s, gene
