Da da!! It is Twisted Tuesday Morning
Good Morning Cali and welcome to the desert version of Twisted Tuesday!
Today bring warm temps once again....it popped the century mark here again yesterday...imagine...in April already? Okay it was great for the most part until 7th period when a whole load of stinky boys came in from their last period be PE out in the heat! Can you say it nearly made me pass out!
I hope all you teachers are surviving testing. Yesterday our principal made the decision to bump up the testing window time and for the rest of the week each testing block day will be 125 minutes to cut down on the extra time that kids are being pulled out past the testing time. UGH!!! So that means even a crazier time in school until we get on.......FRIDAY!!!
So anywho....the interview went okay. I was not as nervous as I thought I would be. Frankly, I think I was too burnt out at 4 to mustard any extra exercsion (sp?) out of my body. I knew the moment I stepped foot in the admin office of the school, this would NOT be a place for me because of all the front office gossiping and acting highly unprofessional....in other words a bunch of loud mouthed women who only cared about was the next meal....I am serious.
I do not know what the correalation of education and stuffing your face is. All you teachers can probably voice the same words....they bribe you with food like a dog in obedience training or something. Feed them and they will come attitude. All to bizarre for me! So bizarre the food thing...the principal asked this final question...if I was the lettuce of the salad (meaning him) what would I bring to the salad....we all could not be lettuce....I thought OMG you really are baby huey (my nickname for him like forever! He was the former principal of the first school I was at and left the first year I was down here to be the principal of another school).
I really appreciated the good vibs....maybe that is what also helped me to be calm. Just keep them rolling that the high school interview on Thursday will be much better!
So kiddies....LOVED all the positives that I read. Like Steve feeling better and his brother.
LuLu riding her bike to work...and sweetie I am sure praying for you and Max!
Never heard from Jean and if she raided the MAC counter....I think Miss Jean is the MAC poster girl....used to be Miss Marta....oh I am sure Marta is at it too!
Lori C...glad your dad is hanging in there with his radiation. I think a lot has to do with the great support he gets from his family. I really commend you for being there right by his side. Hope Amber is doing much better too!
Vicki...so happy that you heard from Mike and that things are okay. Yeah I know those people are not liking us Americans there....but the alternative is worse! You never mentioned how long Mike would be away this time. I know you do not want to think about it...so I am sorry if I brought up a sore subject. Hope your daughters eyes are doing better too! (Mine suck as usual....so I truly sympathize!).
Cindy D....thank you for those kind words...that really made my day when I read that! You and Brian have to make it out to the desert again!
Candi...you have to start posting more pics of Ellie Jane...she is really super pretty! I loved the hate too. And like Jodi said...do not worry about the weight thingie. Ava was only 5-5 I think. She weighed in at 18.11 at her last visit and the Hunter man....sheesh he is barking at her heels weighing in at 16.8 and he is 4 months younger and he was only a 7 pound baby! Soon her mommy and you are going to be saying wait a minute will ya slow down!
Speaking of babies....Monica W we need to have continuous updated pics of that pretty little girl of yours, Jordyn! I can see why Monica P wants to eat her all up!!!!
Katt is having her surgery today. Apparently she called me last night, but I was already asleep. Jeff left me a message here on my computer....Katt made it SD and was calling from her hotel and said everything was fine and her surgery was at 10:30 this morning.
Also April is going into surgery today...lets all keep her in our thoughts too that she makes it safely to the losing side and that her iron levels were a-ok!!!
Wondering how Diane did on her first day back to work? I know she is going to be an asset to the office she will be working in! WAY TO GO Diane!!!!! Hope your knees and back did not give you too much problems!
Sue I am glad to hear that each day you are feeling better. Sometimes it seems like healing takes forever as we get older! Give Miss Sammi and big smooch and hug for me!
Jodi I hope your day is filled with a lot of good things!
Same with you Christine....I know life is so busy, but heck if our weeks were not so busy, it would seem to drag until the weekend eh?
And Nikki...what is up with your employer? BTW...I don't think I mentioned that I love your new board pic! Sometimes they do not show up right away on my computer.
BTW....Groovedaddy Gene if you are reading this...how is your sister doing?
Well I think I am going to drag my sorry butt back to bed for a while. Another long day and I am excited because I think that Sandy is going to bring Ava to school today if her books are light in the afternoon. We were planning on going shopping afterwards....I want her to see the BGCB dress I found and want her opinion on for the wedding we are going to on the 10th. More money than I wanted to spend....that is why I want to have the fashion princesses opinion!
Have a great day everyone...and know just because I didn't shout you out doesn't mean I do not care...cuz I care a lot!!!

Far away there in the sunshine are my highest aspirations.
I may not reach them, but I can look up and see their beauty,
believe in them, and try to follow where they lead.

No migraine yesterday happy me. Today I am hoping for a repeat.
I am praying for Katt today.
Sorry about the front office, I know what you mean. I cannot remember if you had the other interview but, I am hoping you will have a better result.
A teacher and I go off campus for lunch and you know even a sublime move like that makes the tongues wag! I do not like being in the teacher's lounge so tuff du du. Wat EVER
Okay three more wake ups!
CALI Crew have an awesome day
Darlene hope you are well
Vicki, whew I was so happy to hear from you yesterday with good mike news got you covered today low ya
Lynnie I do worry about you and those headaches. What do the doctors say about them? I can barely stand a regalur headache let alone what you must feel with a migraine.
Oh those tongues to waggle Lynn....OMG you are so right.....I have decided that most people I work with do not have a life and make others their life. I have a gal pal at school...now that we are seen together people talk and so do students, but the students see it as something more positive, plus we share some of the kids and I help her out with talking to the kids about their work and grades. Kind of cool!
Well hang in there Lynnie....and I sure hope that you feel better and your day is filled with good things!
