Hi Lori, Thanks for asking.  My car is going to cost around $1500.00 to fix.  I just don't have it.  So it looks like I will be walking and taking the bus until I can figure something out.   I know this is happening for a reason, I just don't know what that reason is yet.

Linda: this may be crazy, but, i saw an ad for this new Chevy... in the paper, they had a 2,000 price cut, making it cost about $8900. total! For a new car!

Maybe it's not doable for you at all...but, I was thinking wow, what if you had a NEW car...no troubles... a warrantee... problem solved!

Linda I'm so sorry to hear about your car.  My car wouldn't start Saturday (why I missed LB coffee)  Thank God it wasn't the timing belt or something more expensive. You are your car are in my prayers...so sorry. Ms Shell

Hey Linda, I am keeping you in my prayers for a quick resolution in the car situation!! Have faith...even when we don't understand why things happen...there is a reason. I know it sounds so cliché but with out the bad, we would never gain an appreciation of the good things when they finally happen...and they are twice as sweet because of the struggle!! I promise!! I only met you for a short while, but you struck me as a strong, capable person and I believe in you! Mae

we meet the last Saturday of each month...and, at times, on a random Saturday in between.

Starbucks at the Kmart/Lowes Shopping area on Bellflower Blvd, near Spring Street....10 am-noonish...

We just gab, laugh, catch up, take lots of pix, and basically support each other in friendship.
