Weight Gain Help!!!
Since my surgery in March 21, 2005 I have put on about 20 lbs and I do want to get about 15 - 20 off it back off. Do any of you out there who's been through this have any ideas to help me out? Any and all help would be welcomes. I'm still in a 14 but i Want to go back down to a 12 maybe 10.. I am 5'8" and very big boned so I carry my weight very well but I still want to be in what I call my comfort zone.
Thanks,
Deborah W.

Hi Deborah,
You know... hard as it is, it's about going back to basics. You might want to take a look at your nutrition guidelines when you first had surgery, or try the 5 day pouch test (which starts you at liquid protein).
Remember your H2O intake, exercise and all the other rules we followed during the 'honeymoon' period. That may help get you back on track.

I there.... I am in the same boat as you. Since my surgery on 5/5/05 and getting married, I have gained about 20 pounds. While I never saw my goal weight, I wanted to put a stop to this trend and at least get back to my lowest weight. I started Weigh****chers and water aerobics at 24hour fitness. The WW has helped make me more conscious of my food choices and the water aerobics was a great way to get back into exercising. I started enjoying married life and got away from the gym. For me they work. I know WW isn't for everyone. Some people need to pay more attention to their carbs, etc.... I have lost 8 pounds in the month. While it's not as earth shattering as when I had weight loss surgery, it is a loss and not a gain. I have put an end to the upward trend on the scale.
I hope you find what works for you.
Good luck!
Cindy
Here is the link to the 5-day Pouch Test that Misleidy spoke of. Good luck! =)
