I Did It!!! All!

Good Morning Calif Friends, How is everyone?  I hope well.  Well I made it!  The whole 6.1 miles yesterday for the Walk for Babies Walk-a- thon!  It really wasn't that bad.........towards the end my balls of my feet were getting a bit sore but it was ok!   There were over 8,000 people in the Sacramento area that walked!  I believe they have raised over 37 million for the Cause.Giving every baby a healthy start!  Just Awesome!!!  I raised $375.00.I know only a drop in the bucket, but Every bit helps. I just wanted to thank you all for the support and kindness!  I really appreciate it! and Janine, surprisingly my back did hold out.....I had to sit/squat for a few minutes here and there when I started to spasm,  and a little sore this morning but I'm doing ok!!!  I think it's a GOD thing!     I hope you all have a great, great Sunday!  I have my grandson Tommy today and I'm going to go and enjoy my time with him now!   Love, Jeni

Laura, I'm glad I'm not the only one with a weird mind...LOL...

Dad had treatment # 15 of 35-ish on Friday... I take him again tomorrow to his treatment... #16...

I think he has "thrush" in his mouth, which is NOT GOOD... he is not taking care of his mouth as he MUST do during this radiation. He's not eating much, either, and has lost more weight...also, not good...

We're just all doing the best we can do to encourage him to do what he needs to do for his health, but, when it all comes down to it, it's HIS life and his choice to handle this how he wants to...

thanks for thinking of us! He really appreciates the prayers..he is being very gracious and loving through what has to be some very hard times for him...

JENI CONGRATULATIONS GIRL. I AM SO PROUD OF YOU.   I'M SO HAPPY YOU MADE IT THROUGH THE WHOLE THING. YOU SHOULD BE VERY PROUD OF YOURSELF, THAT'S A WONDERFUL ACCOMPLISHMENT. TAKE CARE TODAY AND STRETCH OUT THOSE MUSCELS SO THEY DON'T HURT YOU TOMORROW. HAVE A RELAXING DAY.

Thanks Jodi!!!  You know, I'm proud of me too.........  this is the first time I have ever done anything like this and I feel pretty good about it even if my "balls" of my feet hurt a little.  lol I'm a little sore today but actually I feel pretty good!  We gave the dog a bath and I watched Tommy and Skyler (my neighbor's boy) in the jacuzzi for a while.  We put the hose in there to give them some cooler water.  It felt good!    Well I hope you are enjoying your weekend!
