Good Sunday Morning Cali
Good Morning Everyone! I am sure today brings lots of sunshine your way!
It actually popped the century mark here yesterday. As much as I did not want to do it, I got my butt dressed and went to school. Jeff came and did all the lifting and stuff that would actually kill me. I had to reorganize my room to set up for full blown ceramics for the rest of the school year. UGH.....friend wrote me and said she only had 24 days left. I wish!
I digress....it was 101 and serious....very dry and my central swamp cooler was making my house so cold at one point when I was laying down when I got home that I actually pulled the blanket on me! YIKES!
I still cannot get over my grandson met Paris. I agree with all of you about the skinniness....sickening...she looks more like Nicole Richie now! I guess she was in Target slumming it and literally asked my dil to hold Hunter going on and on at how cute he is. One of my students yesterday (Saturday school detention) was there when it happened and swear she has a pic of Paris and Hunter on her cell phone. I said to my friend Greg,....I ought to sell the pic to the National Enquirer LOL
Anywho....looks as if the LB coffee crowd had yet another great turn out of people and lots of fun. Everyone is looking so wonderful...and Jean OMG you looked awesome in that dress! That picture of you and Monica P was way too cute too! Wish I could have come, but seriously as Diane said....you guys have to make the trek closer to use sometime!
BTW...were are pics from Katt's party on Friday night...were they all so x-rated that we can view on OH?
JenDenni.....how did you walk to for the March of Dimes yesterday? I sure hope you post to tell us all about it. You are winner all the way and I think it is soooooooooooooooooooooooo incrediable that you did this. I am telling you, I do not think I could do it with my back. My hat is off to you!!!
LuLu..are you feeling better? I know you said that you might not ride your bike to work because you were not feeling well. Whatever you have got going on.....hope you feel better soon!
Speaking of feeling better.....Steve...how is your x-boo boo doing? Too bad you have to go bac to work on Monday and it was great that you had the time off on Friday to help your brother. I do hope that he had gotten some much relief. Did you have a nice birthday otherwise?
Anabelle....that is wonderful your stall broke and good on you for riding out the stall....worth it eh? 5 pounds too...you are really going to add to the WWW this week!!! Just keep up all the hard work!
Chris how was that yard sale thing? Did you find plenty of clothes to take on your cruise? I cannot imagine it being that cold....I would be on the constant mode of shiver! My brother lived in Alaska and worked on the pipeline. I remember him writing one time saying there was a heat wave and it was something like 40 below!!! Definitely a slice of God's country up there! Oh don't you worry either about camping....air mattress for sure! LOL
Vicki...how is the girl? Did you get something for her eye? How did the t-ball game go? Diane and me were thinking that sometime we ought to drive up and meet you...how far are you from us?
Sue it is really good to hear that each day you are feeling better. I hope that when the doctors do your tests that it shows no signs of more stones or whatever. I have never had a bad bout of stones since the original one. I use to get twinges and thing oh you know what and even though it hurt....it was never as bad as that initial one. Knock on wood...it has been a long time since I have had any pass through! Tell Miss Sammi...hi and give her a big hug and smooch for me. I have a couple of things I need to send her, will do this week!
Well I think I have sat here long enough and I am going to go lay back down. Go out and enjoy that sunshine today.....relax, have some fun....act as if there is not a care in the world!
On a footnote for those who might ask...my son's, dil and granddaughter made it home safe from their grandmothers funeral. I did not get much of the details yet....all I know it was very small and as my dil said sweet. All of them are coping, but as we all said Mabel lived a long life...92 and even though she was my x mil....honestly she couldn't have been a sweeter one! Never judged....just a very kind soul. Thanks everyone for the outpour for my son's....I really did appreciate it all!

Good Morning Calif....
Its just about 5:30 and this morning I AM riding my bike. I didn't ride yesterday, and I am very happy I didn't I don't know If I could have made it home. Sleep is/has been hiding from me, so I am just "running on empty" .(I love that song)
I need to get moving this morning and pack my bag.
Take care all
Remember to DRINK YOUR WATER!!!!

Far away there in the sunshine are my highest aspirations.
I may not reach them, but I can look up and see their beauty,
believe in them, and try to follow where they lead.
