Post WLS dating

ok, i have a personal question...... I am divorced (3 years)  and haven't dated since.  I have been so dissatisfied with my looks, dating hasn't even been an option.  The funny thing is.......my 14 year old daughter has actually been encouraging me to date and I keep telling her I am not ready.  I have zero self confidence at the moment.  Can any single women out there tell me what their experience has been post WLS as far as dating goes.  I know I will gain some of my self confidence back when I am feeling healthy again and feeling attractive again.  But dating again is kinda scary  I haven't dated in 16 years.

I started dating someone new about a year after weight loss surgery and it was great.  We ended up getting married 6 months later.  I have only good things to say .  I just had to put myself out there and everything else took care of itself.  Cindy
