I'M SO SORRY THAT YOUR FEELING LIKE THIS. I TRULY DIDN'T HAVE PAIN LIKE THAT. TAKE THE MEDS LIKE THE DR. SAID AND BELIEVE ME IT WILL HELP.

PLEASE REMEMBER THIS... THE END RESULTS IS VERY MUCH WORTH WHAT YOUR GOING THROUGH NOW AND WHAT YOUR GOING THROUGH SHOULDN'T LAST VERY LONG ANYWAY.

WHEN YOU STAR****CHING THE SCALE MOVE ON DOWN YOUR GONNA FORGET ABOUT WHAT YOUR GOING THROUGH.

TAKE CARE AND KEEP WALKING AS MUCH AS YOU CAN, IT WILL HELP WITH THE PAIN.

TRY TO HAVE A RELAXING EVENING

I for one, didn't have any pain. Unless I rolled over in the middle of the night. Right before bed, I would take some of that gosh awful stuff that helped with the pain.  But only at bed time. The rest of the time I hit the ground running.

I made a post on my profile about the pain - February 2007. It is real and I woke up thinking "what the h*** did I do to myself??" But - I do not have issue with pain meds. I know the first few weeks are hard - but they will pass and you will have a new lease on life before you know it. Hang in there... (((Hugs)))

I had open RNY back in the day and had no pain at all. Everyone is different in the pain aspect of this. It is normal to feel remorseful in the beginning, but believe me, it gets better, every day will get a little better and then you will wonder what all the fuss was about. Hang in there, follow your doctors guidelines to a T, if you have questions about any of them, call his office.

Shardon! My left side hurt like a you-know-what!! For a good solid week-week and 1/2... then, that pain just went away.

My surgeon told me that that is where the last and biggest staple goes in... it's the diameter of a quarter, he told me..

I dunno... it just hurt to get up and down... I thought I'd busted a gut there a few times.

So..normal! and, it will go away... soon!

hang in there...

I'm sorry to hear that you are in pain.. It's kind of like childbirth huh..no one told you.. Then you hear some women say it didn't hurt at all.  Well I didn't have any pain nor did I have the Q-ball but I did have gas and I bet money, my husband wish I had the pain instead..lol Just trying to make you laugh through all of this.. You'll be fine.. Best wishes!!!
