Hey kids!

Although I'm not running, I have signed up to volunteer. I will be helping to set up the finishing line/Expo! So if you're going to be around, pm me your info and let's get lunch afterwards!

I just emailed you!
Now if you are going to win any battle you have to do one thing. You have to make the mind run the body. Never let the body tell the mind what to do. The body will always give up. It is always tired in the morning, noon, and night. But the body is never tired if the mind is not tired."

No.  I don't think I am.  I plan on doing a 4.5 mile run this Saturday.

I think so!  Want me to set the pace for a 15 minute mile and we can see how it goes?  We can always change it halfway through and speed up or slow down if needed!

Sounds good!!   Last night I tried working on speed.  I did 2 miles...1-minute fast walk + 20 second sprints.  I did a 12:20 mile!!!

Wow!  Great job!  Ok...so here's the plan.  I'll set a 15 min. mile pace and we'll go for it.  BTW...I'm not registering for the run.  I'm just doing it for fun with you.  I will leave you towards the end and meet you at the other side of the finish line.  I'll take your camera with me....so make sure you smile when you cross!  :-)
