Time really does fly- An 8 Week Out Update

The Amazing:
1) From Novemeber 2006 until now I have dropped 6 sizes in clothes.
I started out as a size 32 and as of yesterday, I am a size 20. A 20!

2) I dropped from a 24 to a 20 in the last 8 weeks. Yeah baby!
3) I had NEVER bought myself an item of clothing at Walmart ever! Even the Womans sizes were too small. Not anymore!
4) At 6 weeks, my energy came back and I felt normal again!
5) I actually crave veggies now and enjoy adding new ones to my diet.
6) I haven't dumped or thrown up once
7) I can eat pretty much anything (except Red MEat) within reason and find that sticking to my program is not as hard as I thought it would be!

The Weird:
1) My hair isn't falling out, it's breaking off!
2) My complextion is amazing most of the time but then out of no where- ZIT CITY!
3) Red Meat and I have serious issues at times (no- I haven't tried steak, I'm afraid to)!
4) I love Protein Bars- but I think they are slowing down my weight loss
5) I thought I'd stop craving chocolate...don't think that's EVER gonna happen!
6) I drank 1/2 a beer and got S- faced for 10 minutes and then sobbered up 15 minutes later. That was crazy!
7) Still sitting at a 32 lbs. loss
8) I lose weight in "clumps"- like nothing for a week and then 5 lbs overnight!

Highlights:
1) 32 lbs. lost
2) Energy Back
3) Lucky enough to NOT get sick like some
4) Back at the gym full force
5) Sleeping like a baby
6) Down to a size 20
7) 4 more lbs and Im under 250
8) Feeling DAMN GOOD!

Awesome job! You have a fantastic attitude!!!

Couple notes:

-watch the beer/carbonation factor. Some will bash you for the alcohol, but I drank red wine 5 weeks out. But I still avoid carbonation--especially at only 8 weeks out. Things inside are still fragile, and the bubblies could impact your new stomach line.

-for the chocolate cravings, I buy the viactive calcium chews. These are not the right kind of calcium for us, we don't absorb much of it--HOWEVER, I tell myself that I am absorbing *some* of it, and some is better than none. And 1 chew a day gives a me a little yummy to look forward to. I have also bought a Dove dark chocolate bar and chopped it into 7 pieces for 1 a day,

I look forward to seeing your future updates!!!

Ya know- I never thought of beer as being carbonated. Duh! lol! I was just testing it out at an Angels game. a 10 minute buzz is not worth spending $ on beer! Thanks for the Viactive tip!

Ha .. I lost weight in "clumps" too. It was during the time when I was not losing, where i had the old bod start shrinking on me. That's when clothes got bigger, people noticed. But not much of that going on in the 3-5 weeks of loss.  Now, 9 months out.. the loss is so minimal and slow :( . And I'm almost there!!!
