Back in the ER - Canada is cancelled

Hi to my OH buddies out there - un update. Went and had the stent taken out yesterday afternoon about 2pm. Felt immediately a little better just having it out. About 3:30 the pain started to come. Took a pain pill.....nothing. 4:15 took another one......nothing. Pain is getting increasingly worse. (it's so bad I'm  at this point) I call the Dr office and after some back and forth, they send me to the ER since my pain is "not being controlled" Some IV meds and 3.5 hours later I make it home. I have to admit, my little Sammi was SOOOOOOO cute. We are in the ER admitting and she's telling everyone who walks by or will listen to make her mama better. Anyway, I followed up with the Urologist today and it was an adverse effect of having the stent removed and the pain shouldn't get to that level again. BUT just in case, he gave me a prescription for some stronger meds realizing I matabolize them different because of WLS. We also decided that although it isn't likely this will happen again, it is POSSIBLE, and for it to happen while on a plane 10,000 miles above ground would not be good, so we cancelled my trip to Canada. The good news - The company I work for will likely give me the opportunity to go again in 6 months or so. thanks to you all who have given me such support through this whole ordeal! I couldn't have done it without you. Sue
