Happy Saturday Morning OH FRIENDS!

happy Saturday morning to you all!

Yesterday, my father finished treatment # 10 1/3.  Why 1/3, you ask? Because the machine broke down midway through his treatment, so he only got 1/3 of it in... well..it is progress at least!

The issue for prayers now is that he does not want to eat...and he's lost 5 pounds already due to the metabolism-raising nature of the radiation... we're trying to get him to eat ANYTHING high in calories...

Mom saw the cardiologist yesterday and it looks like her cataract surgery is a "go"! She'll have some heart tests just to check into things, but it's not a big bad problem at all, so YAY....

Amber girl is healing up really well from her second surgery, which was on Wednesday..they had to remove the dead area of skin around the bottom of the incision and then pull it all together again...looking good....picture on my profile...

My BF and I are going bike riding today down at Bolsa Chica... just nice, slow, tourist-y riding, nothing like what Liz does!! Dave rides in those big long rides...but I'm a beach cruiser kinda gal...

So... yay for James' dad coming to town.... boo for him ruining the surprise of it all...

Jean...next week!! coffee!! yay... I missed y'all last month so wow...two months of not seeing you is going to make it really special!

So the BIG 30 party's today!!! Hope it indeed was a surprise for him!!! I haven't seen you on the evening news as yet... hopefully the 'sperm doner' didn't blow it and no body-bag nor a body tossing in DHS was involved!!!

All is well... busy-busy is all... deadlines with magazines... gym... get togethers... went out for coffee near my house with that actor/boxer/screen writer/former Armani model after work on Wednesday (NO LIE) turns out he lives down the street from me... he really liked how the cover and feature turned out... lols... wow is me... he said to call anytime... hiking with friends today... errands... got two spa nights... I need to catch-up on sleep tonight... next week is busy as well...

I'm off to LA tomorrow for a big event at the Beverly Hilton (head table). Hopefully, I'll see a star or two... lols... if I do... you know who's having pics taken with them!!! I'm shameless!!!

Received a gift from my Secret Pal BeinSneaky... yummy sugary smelling shea butter hand cream... I sure cracked that puppy open for a try and LOVED IT!!! I WUV you Secret Pal!!!

Gonna turn-in early tonight... feeling tired...
