Support Group in the San Fernando Valley?

I have looked everywhere, and can not find a support group (pre/post op), in the SFV. Encino hospital used to have it, but now they do not. I am having the surgery done @ Cedars, but do not want to drive all the way into the city to goto classes....any help from everyone would be great. Thanks.

Hi, I just came back from Cedars.  I go to a support group in Woodland Hills.  It meets one Tuesday evening and one Sat morning a month.  When is your surgery?  Good Luck!  Also, make sure you request  to be put on the 8th floor where all the Bariatric patients are.  I was stuck on the 7th floor in the orthapedic area and it was awful.  the nurses were clueless... so make sure before that they will have a room for you.  Thanks, Michelle
