I GOT APPROVED FOR CONSULTATION....ABOUT TIME

I WAITED FOR THIS MOMENT SOOOOOO LONG. I WAS SO PATIENT.........I FINALY CALLED AND NOW THEY WANT ME TO DO THE CLASS  AGAIN, SEE NUTR. AND THEN THE DOCTOR.......BECAUSE ITS PARK OF THE PROGRAM......I AM TIRED OF WAITING....1 YR TOTAL, 6 MONTHS OF DOCTOR REVIEW...6 MONTHS OF NURT. 1 APNEA TEST, AND ONE MONTH LATER..... DAM.... I KNOW I SHOULD BE HAPPY BUT COME ON........I ASKED IF I CAN SEE THE DOCTOR AFTER THE CLASS AND THEY SAID THEY WILL HAVE TO GET AUTH FROM THE DOCTOR FIRST.........SMART IDEA, TO SEE THE DOCTOR AFTER THE CLASS.... I CAN'T BE TAKING OFF WORK EVERY OTHER WEEK JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT ORGANIZED.....DAM THAT GIRL GOT ME UPSET.................TRUST ME, PLEASE DON'T GET ME WRONG, THIS HAS BEEN THE FIRST TIME I EXPRESS MYSELF SO NEGATIVE.... IT MUST BE STRESS, IT IS THE END OF A CRAZY WORK WEEK...... SORRY FOR VENTING......... I AM VERY HAPPY I DO HAVE THIS CHANCE TO LIVE ...

Lisy,  Lots of us know where you're coming from.  It seems like such a long and difficult process but try to always look at that light at the end of this long tunnel.  I had to see my primary care physician first then wait for referral to see the surgeon.  Then I had to see a nutritionist for 3 visits and also a psychologist for three visits.  Waiting for authorizations before I could even have those visits.  Then the surgeon told me I needed to lose weight before I could even try to get an authorization from my insurance for surgery.  I have finally lost the weight the surgeon required and I have been approved by my insurance on the first try.  yesss!  It seems like it has been such a long journey but everyday you get closer and closer.  Keep trying don't give up.  Always remember you're worth all the effort.

Lisy as hard as it is to wait and you think you will never get to the loser bench you have to think about Rome was not built in a day and in the long run you will get surgery and it will last a lifetime!

I know not much help right now, but there are a lot of people who have waited and have jumped through major hoops and their patience have paid off.

Just hang in there girl....it will happen!
