Went for a ride

Got the bike together today, YAY me..

So at frist I round around inside the safty of my complex, then I would stop and re-ajust this or that. Then I felt everything was good. (and I had my new helmet) I thought it was time to time the road, but after about 10 minutes my BUTT was killing me. OMG the seat sucks. I hurt so bad I was thinking of getting off and start walking. But I didn't whimp out. To this moment my butt still hurts. WOW!! I still have a large butt, but I guess I don't have any padding left. So I guess I need a new seat. I wonder if my I could tape a pillow on it. LOL

But, I did enjoy my self and had lots of from, and cant to get my new seat and hit the road.

Most bikes don't come with "comfort" seats. I'd go back to your bike shop and explain your situation, and they should be able to find you a seat that is wider with more padding, or better springs, or a shock built into the seat.  I had a 15 speed bike a few years back, with the worst seat in the world, even with padding. I did go back and get another seat. The new "butt releif" seat may not look very streamlined, but it will make your butt feel better about the biking experience. Glad you didn't have to wait till Saturday. DAVE

Weigh to go Lu!!! I once added a "gel" seat cover to one of bikes and WOW what a difference that made! Did you put it together yourself? hope there weren't any left over pieces parts. DoubleAgent!

No parts left over and it stops when you hit the little thing marked brake, so I don't have to use a building or something. LOL

Kevin was telling me about the gel seat covers, so I am going to check them out, just dont know when I will get the chance.
