SP Update...please read for those who are participating!

It has been brought to my attention by several people who are actively participating in the SP Thingie that I should end this current SP Thingie on the 1st of June to weed out the people who have flaked on their SP's.

A number of you have been super fantastic SP's and I can say almost positively that you do not want to lose the SP you have been spoiling, but it is quite unfair for those who have been left in the lurch so to speak. Yes it is all about spoiling someone else, but that also gets things out of balance.

 

So I want to put out there unless I hear otherwise, I am going to reveal the SP's come June 1st and then the people who want to participate still for the remainder of the year, I will be glad and and more than willing to do another draw. This way no one will feel left out and for sure not get swipes and thin veiled remarks made to them either.

I know that some of the people who have not heard from their SP's are trying to be nice about it and we all know that life gets in the way, but those people who had a hard time keeping up with the committment should have contacted me so I could have made other arrangements.

So email here or at [email protected] if you have a problem with this and if I do not hear from you SP participatants, I will take it that you are down for this and we will do another draw shortly after June 1st.

To all the SP's the ones who gave a 1000% and then some thank you for taking this serious and you all have done a grand job!!

I love the person that I received in th draw...as far as my SP goes, I have been getting a few cards a week from SecretAngentPal (SAP). I'm not sure if this is the person that got my name in the draw, or someone that knew my SP flaked on me, but I want to keep things just as they are. SAP sent me a card within a 1/2 hour after I had posted about losing my job and my marriage. For that, I am sooo thankful. Also, I want to keep the person that I received in the draw. =)

I am having a great time with my pal and hope she is enjoying having me as SP. But I say yah, end this and reveal.

I like my Secret Pal as well as the Secret Pal who has me... I already feel vested in mine and have purchased items from their Elfster list several months ahead for mine.

At this point, come June, I'd just rather bail than deal. It's a shame people aren't good for their word.

I could go either way.  If we do a redraw though, I don't think I'll participate.  I'm tired of getting the people who don't want to participate, and that just seems to be my luck with this kind of thing.  But, Janine, this is in no way a reflection on how I feel about you or how wonderful you are for having gotten this all together!  Even though I've had a lot going on lately, I've still managed to make an effort, but that energy will be put elsewhere if we end this.  I will definitely stand by my commitment though if we go through to the end of the year!   -Donna

Hi Janine, I am good to go either way.  I was blessed by my SP........and I did have a lot of fun with mine.  But I will go with the majority.........I want it to be fun for everyone who participates not just a chosen few.. Although I LOVE my SP and I am enjoying the one that I have been given~ I am cool with switching things up in June.  Can't say whether or not I will participate again, but I will go with the flow either way....I should say that even if we do not change things up, I will continue to try to spoil my person as much as I can!   Thanks for taking this on!!  You are the bestest!

Well I love my SP and hope I have been good enough to my SP, but I feel very bad for those who arent getting attention. Since I have been in their shoes twice before where my secret exchange person flaked, I understand how they feel. So if a redraw must be done June 1st then so be it! I am so sorry this hasnt gone smoothly for you Janine, you have put so much into this~ THANK YOU!!!!
