What are you thankful for?

Morning California!!! I havent been on at all lately because I am enjoying the time with Mike being home, but he is out this AM at our local swapmeet trying to sell some stuff from our garage and give us some extra spending $$ and I wanted to stop by and say HELLO!! So, this post is for you to express whatever you are thankful for.....anything at ALL! Mine: No brainer here~ that MIKE IS HOME!! We still have one more week and I am hoping that time will stand still....it is going to be awful to say goodbye again, but I will not let that thinking cloud our time together right now! For those that wanted to know~ my oldest daughter and I (along with my brother in law, who was the photographer) went to pick up Mike from the airport.  We left our two youngest at my Mother in law's house and told them that we would come back with a surprise.  When we got back to her house, I got them all set up on the couch and had them close their eyes, cover them up and sit while I counted to 3.  I said 1....2....and Mike said 3~ our little girl immediately jumped up and ran to him and our little guy was stunned at first and then went running to him as well, and had some big ole crocodile tears.  It was so stinkin' cute!  I hope this works!! http://s11.photobucket.com/albums/a158/mikeandvicki/?action= view¤t=8503b87f.pbw Anyway, what I am thankful for the most right now is our time with Mike.  I have an appt with an orthosurgeon on Thursday, so keep me in your thoughts that he will give me some answers to my back problems!  PLEASE? Please share all that you are thankful for!

Hi Ms. Vicki and gooooood morning. I love the picture of you and Mike. That is so precious. Well I am thankful for of course all the wonderful people on here. My SP, My angel Steve and everyone else who has shown me such wonderul support and love. I am also grateful for of course my son, other friends and family. I am also grateful for my job even though I complain about it. I have to check myself and remind myself that I am very blessed to even have a job and am able to pay my stinking bills.  Anyway, thanks for post Vicki. This is my favorite post of all- so positive. MY WONDERFUL HUSBAND,CHILDREN,GRANDCHILDREN AND ALL OF YOU ON THE BOARD WEATHER I HAVE MET YOU IN PERSON OR WE ARE JUST CYBER OR PHONE FREINDS.

THANKFUL THAT MY HUBBY GOT OUR BACKYARD FIXED UP SO MY 2 YEAR OLD GRANDDAUGHTER IS OUT IN THE BACK YARD RIGHT NOW SWINGING PULLING HER WAGON AROUND WITH HER ANIMALS AND HER 2 BEST FRIENDS SOUPY AND CINDY. SOUPY WAS SALLY BUT WHEN SHE FIRST GOT HER SHE COULDN'T SAY SALLY AND IT CAME OUT SOUPY AND SHE WILL ALWAYS BE CALLED SOUPY.

VICKI, I AM THANKFUL FOR MEN LIKE YOUR HUSBAND THAT MAKE IT SO MEN LIKE MINE ARE FREE TO WORK HERE IN THE UNITED STATES AND BE ABLE TO COME HOME AFTER 10 HOURS OF WORK AND PLAY WITH HIS GRAND DAUGHTERS.

Oh my goodness.  That slide show was so wonderful.  If I was there in the airport I would have started to applaude.  The happiness on everyones face was almost blinding.  I am so glad that he is home and sorry that he has to go back.  You will also be in my thoughts as you go to the orthopedic surgeon on Thurs.  I feel your pain, and I know that there is help out there, just make sure you don't run down the road to surgery and make sure you just can't stand the pain any longer before you take that step. OK ME BLONDE!!!! I AM thankful for Dougie and the time we spent together this weekend.  We already had our first fight this morning, as soon as he gets back to work it sucks for him and I am the sounding board.  He needs to go out and find a part time job so he can tell the county to shove this job where the sun don't shine. I am thankful so much for my friend Lisa, who is there for me through thick and thin no matter what.  For OH who brought this kinds sweet person into my life.  I am so blessed.  I thought I would never have another friend like I lost 9 years ago and then here is Lisa.  Love U. For Vicki and this post, always a great way to start the week. 2. Pain meds 3. Routine procedures to remove kidney stones 4. My hubby, family and friends that continue to be tremendous support 5. The company I work for is amazing 6. Having the best boss I have ever had in my life Thats good for now... Sue
