Some sad news...

Hello all, I know that I am not on here much anymore, but I got some news this morning that I thought I should share. I am not sure how much time Kristy Dotson spent on the boards anymore, but she was a big part of the boards when I first started coming here. I met her at a support group meeting right after my surgery and kept in somewhat constant contact with her throughout the years due to the fact that we lived near eachother. I just learned this morning that she was killed in an accident last night in her hometown of Farmersville. Apparently, she was walking on a busy street and wa**** by a vehicle. I don't have any other information, just what was in the local newspaper. Please keep her long time boyfriend and her children in your thoughts and prayers. I will post more if I hear any more information. Thank you, Marta

Marta I came here for a quick read by and I am reading this not believing what you are posting. I am in utter shock. I am so saddened that this is what brought you to the boards and know that my prayers and thoughts are with her children and family.

I am so sad to read this! She was definitely a big part of this board and this is just such a tragedy. My heart goes out to her loved ones.
