Discomfort eating breakfast?

I'm three weeks (tomorrow) post-op. I'm following my diet prescribed by the nutrtionalist. I'm eating soft, mushy, and extra crispy foods. I cant seem to eat a mushy breakfast in the morning without discomfort. Later in the day I'm fine. Anyone experience the same thing.

call the doc, did I read right that you are on Extra Crispy foods at 3 weeks out?

Initially, I also had difficulty with breakfast. It seemed my pouch would be extra tight in the morning and slowly stretch throughout the day. Your pouch will eventually heal and stretch thereby removing the discomfort from breakfast. Be patient. Good luck! Ben P.S. I'm surprised you are allowed to eat extra crispy foods so soon.

Sometimes if you start your morning with a cup of hot tea, it will ease your pouch and make it easier to get some food into it. Good Luck.  L.

I too have a problem with food at breakfast, so that is when I have my protein shake and some days I feel up to an egg or some cheese. It will get better from what I hear here on the boards! Good luck and Congrats!
