Wow Moments anyone????
Thank you! I want to hit twenty lost by May 9 when I go to Phoenix to see Randy's daughter graduate from nursing school. I am hoping that puts me back into single digit sizes. One day at a time though, one day at a time.................
Can't exercise right now cause I messed up my bad leg, but as soon as that feel better, I hope to walk my little doggie's legs off!!!!
Hugs!!!

Everyday is a wow day now. Whether I have seen people before or not, it's became an everyday occurance and I now have learned how to just say "Thank you". No more explanations on what I did or how I got to where I am now. From size 32 pants to the same style of pants to a 16....not all pants fit me the same, so if pants that I could NEVER even get into to are now size 20. My shirts should be a 1xl, just ask Lisa, she is always telling me my tops are too big, from a 5 or 6xl, and some shirts are XL's. I actually went to Walmart to buy some pants because the 16's at Catherines were a little too big for me, so I got a 16 at Walmart. Life is certainly alot different than before, I am happier, healthier, except for the length of time it is taking to get over the knee surgery, and just love life so much more.
Today I love life, a year ago I wasn't sure I wanted to continue with it. NOW if I could have plastics today, I can't even imagine what size I would be, but for right now, it's get a job so I can pay for it to be done, and then we shall see.
Love and hugs, Diane
I am almost 3 years post op - went through a divorce post surgery (from a verbally abusive person who loved telling me the "who else would want you" thing) a few years ago and after dating a few people have begun a relationship with a wonderful, affectionate, loving gentleman. I was a bit blown away the other day when he told me that he loved my small "girls" and small hips .... having weighed 225 lbs for 20 years, I NEVER considered myself to be small in either of those areas ... that was an incredible WOW moment for me! lol!

Great wow moments, Monica!!
I had one this weekend... I can now look in my closet and realize that I have enough pairs of pants that fit and that I love to wear a different pair for about 8 days without repeating...for me, that's WOW... I remember the days where I had lots of tops and shoes, because they "fit"...but MAYBE two pairs of pants, if I was lucky...just couldn't find any to fit and look "good"... Towards the end of my MO days, in the months before surgery, I had only ONE pair of pants that "fit"...a black stretchy pair...I wore them every day.
So...WOW... pants that fit...lots of 'em!!

Hey angel....your black jacket almost fits me!
Now if you are going to win any battle you have to do one thing. You have to make the mind run the body. Never let the body tell the mind what to do. The body will always give up. It is always tired in the morning, noon, and night. But the body is never tired if the mind is not tired."

Monica,
Woot! Go girl! Isn't it nice when people notice how good you look? My wow moment. One of our "studly" PE teachers mentioned to my principal that he has seen a lot of the male faculty hanging around my office, saying that I had become a distraction! Omg...can't remember the last time I was a distraction!
