OT: SoCal Visit at end of May - Tourist Question

My family and I are doing the Disneyland thing at the end of May and then will be heading down to San Diego mid-week to hit Legoland, etc. and will be there for about 4 days. DH & I would like to find a nice beachfront hotel where we can enjoy some California sun and surf. Any suggestions on where to stay? TIA!

Im partial to Hiltons... Hilton Waterfront Resort in Huntington Beach and the Del Mar Hilton, off Jimmy Durante-across from the fair grounds in SD Have fun!
