Date Night w/Dave and Amber update...OT, as usual!!

Date night with Dave for our one year anniversary of dating was FABULOUS! My new avatar is a picture of us out on the patio at DaVinci's Ristorante in Long Beach... dinner was amazing... the environment equisite... we both looked great, me in a new dress and he in his suit...

The food was creative, and beautifully served... the staff amazing...the surroundings beautiful... I felt a new and stronger connection forming with Dave than I have had before. A very nice evening...

Amber... well, MY dogs are quarantined until next Friday, with a red sticker in our window. The Pitt? As far as I know from what the animal control officer told me yesterday, no one has even been inside their HOUSE yet... don't get me started on this one, gang!

But, Amber had her drain removed yesterday and is slowly recovering. She has an amazing spirit. She may need another small surgery because the vet said some of the skin is dying...but it is not a major procedure.

No offer of payment yet for Amber's first bills...I handed the bills and some pictures to a neighbor, who handed it to the dog owner... they are friends... I am not getting out of my car at that house.

Life goes on... thank God. Keep your animals safe and sound... and gates and doors locked firmly! We've all made mistakes at one time or another~ I know I have~ and have been fortunate never to have had an incident like this from one of my animals on another animal.
