Good Saturday Morning Cali

Good Morning all my Cali Friends!!!

It was definitely a warm one out here in the desert yesterday. It was 94 at my work. Felt good really because most of the school is too cold. In my classroom the air works over in one small section of my room....when I help the kids over there....it is like brrrrrrrrrrr. So when I go outside....I just wanna soak up the sun!

So my weekend plans fell through. I did spend time with Hunter last night. When I woke up about an hour ago, I was thinking of him and thought just what a sweet baby he is. This is because he is my grandson, he is just so peaceful and talks up a storm. We were doing eskimo kisses and he literally started giggling! I tell you, I just feel so blessed.

I was supposed to go to Algedones today, but my birth certificate is in the safety deposit box.....so forget that! Jeff has to get his too. So we will go in a few weeks with the kids. James's heart medicine is way cheaper and worth the drive.

I will get to hang out with Miss Ava today regardless and tomorrow we are taking her to Joshua. I took her there when she was a baby baby in a sling, now I have a back pack for her!

Lisa thanks for the shout out about Ava too! She will be fine. She was born with a short muscle on one side of her neck from the way she was carried and holds her head a bit funny although way better now as she goes to PT. The helmut is for her to keep a good shape to her head and face really until the muscle is better. If it is not done, she was have a lopsided face in a way and a flat spot in her head. The helmut not only will force her muscle to stabilze and lengthen, it wil keep her head pretty!

I guess most of us are planning a lazy weekend it seems like. Although I am sure that party animal Gus and his cute wife Anna are out doing something fun.

Oh yeah and not to mention LuLu who is really partying on down with Kevin for his birthday. Hey Lu....wanna hear about the Murder Mystery restuarant.

And what about Mike coming home to Vicki????????OMG I am so excited for you Vicki and I am sure you are just besides yourself to see him! How long is he going to be home for? I hope he will not have to do another tour. Good luck with that paper and to fill your paper find quotes and b.s. about the quotes. You can do it!

This week brought good news. Tiff is on the losing side. A buttload of weight was lost. Katt go her upper GI and mostly likely be on the losing side soon! JenDenni got good news with her lumps and a bit of a reprieve!!! A lot of SP' s came out of the woodworks again. Steve is days away from getting his hernia repaired and I am sure will be feeling much better. Kevin Kirby showed his mug around these boards....always nice to see old timers. Monica W is coming back swinging after deliver Miss Gorgeous Jordyn and her nightmare of moving! Not to mention peeling off that baby weight...you go girl! Monica P is gonna get her thyroid in check YAY!!! (nice new board pic btw Monica). Kim aka Madame Butterly hit her all time low and now is below that! True dedication girl and you had better start getting consults soon! (BTW sent in a photo for that contest last night on email). Jean had lunch with old friends which has to be totally fun. Miss Diane is back and swinging on the boards woohoo! Lovely Miss Jaime is sooooooooooo skinny, pretty and has to be one of the sweetest!

It appears that most of us had hell weeks for sure, but I think we can all say that when Friday at quiting time, we all breathed a sigh of relief and put a smile on our faces as we were able to leave our place of employment satisfied that we made it through another week in the trenches!

I hope that today brings all of you a wonderful day filled with sunshine, love and lots of smiles on your face even when you have to do those nasty chores.....and Vicki.....hold the screaming down....we do not want national security showing up at your doorstep!!!! LOL

Have a great day everyone and remember with it getting warmer....drink drink drink tha****er!!

PEACE OUT!!!!

Good morning Janine and all my cali buds Well first off I have ridden my bike a couple of times.....I am a little shaky getting started but once I get going I feel great..... Janine you do the best recaps in the am's I just love them ... I am praying for Ava and know all will be fine.  I used to work with a gal whose daughter had kind of the same thing and she is abasolutely fine now and gorgeous - I think she is about 7 or 8 now.....time flies and this old mind doesn't keep up to good. Some day I am going to come out to your neck of the woods and take a look at the beauty of Joshua.... Oh, some fun news, I am going to Pechanga with a friend of mine on the 15th and 16th for 2 nites.  I have never been there and am looking forward to it.  Should be fun.  We will also go check out a couple of antique stores in that area as that is his business selling antiques....and before you jump to any conclusions - this is a strictly platonic friend, like a brother to me - and I love his wife to pieces so no - nothing shady - 2 rooms and all...lol Today is pretty low key - although I do need to go to sams club and petsmart but that might wait till Monday when there are less people out there. I may go for a swim today and a bike ride how about that.....lol Ok well coffee's done - time to get a cup and go watch the BB9 showtime show on the DVR.... Hugs to all and have a great weekend.

Good morning Janine and Cali! Thanks for the update on Ava! I've been thinking about her and wondering what was up. We will continue to keep all in good thoughts and prayers. I'm so excited for Vicki with Mike coming home! I can only immagine....... Today, my friend Helen from work is coming down the coast and we are taking Sammi to the Central Coast Celebration. It's a small carnival type thing with a few rides and vendors and music and such put on by the Chamber of Commerce. It should be fun and the weather should be ok too.  Hope you all have a great weekend! Sue

How is my favorite pancake girl? And how are you feeling Miss Sue? Have you passed that stone yet? I have had kidney stones and know all too well the pain....I just sure hope that it doesn't reoccur for you once you have passed it.

Have fun today....wish I was closer! Kisses

Miss SammiCakes is doing great! We're both looking forward to getting outside for a while today. the stupid Kidney Stone is still in there. I do hope it passes before to long, I have a trip to Canada planned on the 23rd. I'm hoping to be done with all this by then. Kiss your grandbabies for us! Wish we were closer too. Sammi would LOVE Joshua.

MORNING!!!! Yes, my love is coming home today!!!  Not sure of the exact time yet~ he is going to call me when he gets to his first stop in the states.  From there he is scheduled to be in Fresno at 830pm, but he is going to try to get an earlier flight.  I have already looked and there are some earlier flights, even if it means he has to travel via LAX (and I apologize if I already wrote this before-I have been emailing my SIL's and I wasnt sure if I already wrote this out on here...) Anywho~ I have a head cold, which stinks and I would have loved to have slept in for a little while longer, but my doggies had other plans.  They are expanding our back yard, so they are in crates during the night and I got get up to get them outside.  Here it is 730 and all my kids are still sleeping!  VERY RARE! And we have the COOLEST plan for today, if Mike can get onto an earlier flight.  My two youngest have no idea that daddy is coming home.  So, my oldest and my SIL's are going to meet Mike at the airport while my MIL watches the two babies.  Then, after all of our hellos (which I want as many cameras there as possible taking pictures!!), I am going to send my SIL's back to my MIL's house, while we get Mike's luggage so that they can get all set up there with camera's as well. When we get back to my MIL's, Alyssa and I will walk in and then I am going to say that I forgot something in the car.....and lo and behold- I will bring in Mike!  I AM SO EXCITED!!!   Now, if for some reason he cant get on an earlier flight and still comes in at 830pm, then I am just going to tell them that we are picking up Marta from the airport and surprise them that way!! Either way, it is just going to be so cool and I hope that I can get some great pictures out of it!! He will be here for two weeks, which I am trying not to even think of at this point.  There are a lot emotions going on right now in my head~thankfully, I am not reaching into the cupboard to ease my feelings.  I think that it helps that I am kind of sickie-poo as well.  haaa.....and screaming?  Gotta keep quiet or the kiddos will come in wondering what is wrong with mommy....  LOL Have a WONDERFUL day California!!  I am sure you will all understand that I may be scarce around these parts for a while, but- I will try to pop in every once in a while! Hugs! p.s.  OH!  I forgot to tell you, I wrote my Art teacher and asked him if he would be a little leniant (sp?) with me about my rough draft being due last night (I explained our situation) and he said "are you kidding me?  Your husband coming home is WAAAY more important than that paper right now-you have a good time!"  Wasn't that cool?  The paper isn't actually due until May 23rd, but that was a load off my noggin to not have to try to come up with more to turn in last night!

Hi Janine and Cali Crew!

Glad to hear you sent one of your pics in for the photo contest...
I'll be on the lookout...

It's good Ava's getting everything she needs... she's a real sweetie!

Yes, working on the consults schedule this week... trying to get both on one day as not to drive into Beverly Hills twice. I'll stay at my friend's home in Manhattan Beach. Planning on consults end of this month.

Take care,
Kim
