My Results of the CT Scan

Hi Everyone, First I want to Thank all of you for your kind thoughts and prayers.  I know I don't know you well, only from behind this computer but you guys have been so wonderful to me and I want you to know I appreciate it so much.  I do not take this lightly!  So please accept my heartfelt thanks. First off.....The lymph nodes are prominent however they feel that they are still in a normal range.  They want me to come back in 4 to 6 months and do another CT Scan to make sure they are stabilized.  They are not so big that they are suggesting a biopsy or anything so that is good. Secondly,  there is a soft tissue mass in my left breast which I need to go have an ultra sound and mammo on......which I knew because last October I went in because I could feel several lumps..it was just cysts and they said they will go away, if not we will just keep an eye on them. I still think they're the marbles falling out of my head!!!  lol  As far as my neck and spine, L5 is sitting on S1 and squishing the nerves.  That's why that hurts..I will most likely need to have surgery on down the line but it's all systematic.  My cervical spine is screwed up as well, degenerative stuff going on along with severe arthritis.   So all in all I feel pretty good about the results.............. Oh - I told him I was denied on my WLS and he agreed to write a letter saying how weight loss could significantly help me as far as pain  and if I was to have surgery it would be beneficial if I lost the weight for recovery would be shorter and rehab easier. So I will add that to my stack I am accumulating for the Insurance!  Anything that would help right? Thanks again!  You are all special and very kind. Jeni  XO

Bless your heart Jeni!!

I am confident that all of this will help your case in the long run.  I had some stuff found on a mammo a few years ago and had to go in for an ultrasound to find out more....turns out it was no big deal and I have to go in yearly for my exams.

Wow, and your back....I feel your pain, sister....LITERALLY!!  LOL

Take care and good luck with everything!

hugs to you,

Vicki

I'm so glad you got some answers and that they aren't anything too threatening! And great that all this could help with your WLS appeal and that they doctor is willing to write you a letter!   I will be keeping you in my prayers for the mammo doesn't show anything bad! I so feel you on the back issue. I've never had a very good back, but my mom has been through numerous back surgeries, so I've been through it with her.  Thanks for letting us know and keep us posted!   biggest hugs, Becky

Jenni:

What good news that you have a reprieve. That is a good sign.

I do not know if you remember me telling you that the docs removed lymphs from under my arm a number of years ago to biopsy. Well low and behold 3 days later I was admitted to the hospital with full blown staph infection where I had to be operated on to remove the tissue under my arm and spent 5 days in the hospital isolated with mega IV antibiotics and very very sick. Bottom line is that my I am a staph carrier (nothing bad really) and my lymphs were full of staph that they removed. I have sense had them come and go (glands), but do not worry.

I am just so friggin happy for you that things are what they are right now. You need to get that mamo....so important...cyst or not...know what I mean jellybean?

The back issue will help you to get your insurance to approve you like Vicki said and like her, I am right there with you sister my L-2/L-5 S-1 are bulged along with my C-3thru 5. All I want for Christmas is a new back!!! lol

Just soooooooooooooooooooooooooo happy Jenni....you have had to be doing the happy dance all day and felt some relief! Kisses
